Fun fact, the Vark was originally intended to be a fighter/interceptor. The Navy needed a long-range plane to shoot down Soviet bombers...the result was the F-111B, which the Navy promptly refused, and instead put in for the F-14 (there is a bit of family resemble there). The USAF did not want the 111, as it was too big to be a fighter and too small to be a bomber...but once they got it they realized it makes a heckuva low-level interdictor.

Ok so I think I know what happened in the first clip. It is possible when shooting an enemy's missile/bomb to detonate it. It is most likely the guy was shooting at your and hit one of the missiles you fired at him causing the whole payload to detonate.

This thing is actually insane. The gun, speed, and maneuvrability at high speed is crazy. Already had like 2 rounds where I destroyed 2 1/2 bases and got an ace in each, even won in a 1v2 at the end of the match, adding the score to easily over 5k.
