After believing n trusting in Jesus for more than 40years, I must say it's the wisest ( though often not the easiest or least painful) way to just "hear" His voice( inner prompting in a heart desiring to please Him) n obey ( often requiring courage n steadfastness n sometimes no applause from people around you, especially close friends/ family/ relatives).THAT'S the test we either fail or pass, right from the outstart!

You have to pray a lot. You have to seek God, and if you do, you willl love God by His Spirit and thereby be yielded to God. And then obedience is easy and natural. Without a deep hunger from a deeper seeking, you will never have an obedience that pleases God.

I am thinking of making a move to Alaska soon, I am praying a lot about it. I wondered if this message was confirmation to make the move even though I won’t have an apartment for at least a year while establishing residency. It would mean giving up my nice apartment here in NYC, giving away my things and my body of large paintings. I asked about who to talk too one Sunday about donating some of my work to the church, they are large scale contemporary landscapes influenced by the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Going back to Alaska seems like it would be a step backwards so this message really spoke to me. Also just a detail, but sometimes I listen to secular music and there is a really good band called Tame Impala.

Yes! YES! Dear Lord Jesus, I believe you're the son of God. I believe that on the cross you took my sin, my shame, my guilt, you died for it. you Faced Hell for me so I wouldn't 't have to go. You rose from the dead to give me a place in Heaven, a purpose on earth and a relationship with your father. Today, Lord Jesus I turn from my sins to be born again. God is my Father, Jesus is my savior, the Holy Spirit is my helper, and Heaven is my home in Jesus Name. AMEN!
