​@@joeltoomer3332 I didn't remember people saying Yao Yao was better, it was just that Yao Yao was free when Baizhu came out and worked well enough it most dendro teams. At the time, the most notable team for Baizhu was Cyno. Baizhu became more popular because of the meta shift, Furina wanted a healer and Fontaine units wanting the shield/heals as well. That and his off field presence became more desirable.

Ever since Furina joined my Neuvillette Team, I never used any other healers than Dr. Baizhu. I am so glad that he is now up there with the greats in support!

Me too. I freely admit I was completely wrong about Baizhu. I thought he was an easy skip when he first came out. I only got him for the Neuvillette/Kazuha/Furina/Baizhu team and at C2S1 he's absolutely amazing. He went from someone I dismissed as mid, to being my favourite healer by miles. Healing the entire team for 18k off an E with 2 charges and 10s cooldown is incredible.

Question for the OP.... I dont have baizhu but i do have xianyun(and altho her heals are inferior to baizhu, she can still cap my c0 Furina's fanfare quickly....) My question is that will my nuvi still be strong enough with this variation? Or do i need Baizhu specificly?

Taser (Electrocharge) teams already exist and have existed for a long time. It has its niche since the reaction is only really good for dealing with groups of enemies, but it's really good. Though in modern Genshin, it's generally more effective to replace the double Electro with Shinobu and a Dendro and run Hyperbloom instead. Still, as long as you run Fischl, Electrocharge is a really easy and consistent team to run.

Baizhu has always been the goat people just slept on him bc”not waifu”. Furina basically just made him dendro Bennett/zhongli (through her own buffs ofc) but he will always be valuable due to how much utility he has like his seamless shield, team wide heal on skill, off field dendro with high uptime that works in multiwave, he’s brings more comfort than zhongli imo and never leaves my teams. Also he can heal your characters underwater when you collect items which is very useful in Fontaine exploration

I'm waifu pulling but in this case it's just that I find dendro to be a boring element. I'm kinda glad as well that dendro has the least female waifu's in all of genshin. It's good for the boyband characters and gnome/lalfell/lollis too. Looking at you Nahida! Still, worst element for waifu pullers and if one doesn't even like the element as it's boring, I did mention that? haha yeah.. Hard pass on all. I'm grateful that there aren't any killer waifu's there!

Baizhu main here. Glad to see him get the recognition he deserves. Especially after the "Baizhu is just a 5 star Yaoyao" allegations i saw spreading when he first came out.

That claim confused me *so much* that I actually tried using Yaoyao to check the difference between them, and then was _still_ so confused by the comparison. Baizhu's teamwide heal is on his skill so every few seconds (or just whenever you take damage) you hit one button and everyone is topped, regardless of ER. Yaoyao is a burst healer like Barbara. The only things they have in common are element and healing. Why get Kokomi when Barbara also heals and applies hydro from off-field? Because Kokomi is just better. Almost no one who's built and used Baizhu would seriously compare them. I regret not getting constellations for him on his rerun, so I'm hoping the rumors are true and he gets another rerun during Fontaine. I want his C2, then I probably won't even have to bring him on field at all to heal everyone at all times. :p

@@GraveUypo I agree, the only reason people use baizhu is skill issue furina or neuvullete, nahida with prototype amber can completely fill baizhu's role as a healer du to healing 24 percent max hp every 13.5 seconds so the main reason baizhu is beign used is due to neuvullete and not becasue he's acually good. In a sense baizhu is overhyped in this comment section and nahida overall is better.

I cleared second half with Chiori and Ningguang supported by Furina and Bennett. I had so much fun using Ning after years and the team is surprisingly effective!

Wew its rare to see a fellow ning user! I run basically the same team except I use zhongli instead of chiori. I did the calc and seems like with chiori, ning’s personal damage will be lower but overall team damage will be higher than zhong li comp. I’m thinking about pulling for chiori because i only need a little more team damage to one rotation 12-3 chamber 2. However, I’m not sure if the geo resonance can hold up often enough as the geo shard shield will be significantly weaker and likely to break often with enermies like chamber 3. How was your experience without zhongli shield?

HEALER CHARACTERS SUPREMACY!!! I am so glad Baizhu is seeing more usage - He’s a main stay on my teams and my go to healer in general- I love using him with my Furina - I love Baizhu and I supported him when all the naysayers said he wasn’t good- I swear I will defend Baizhu and Qiqi until the end of time. Baizhu is my healer for my main team /Burgeon Diluc team comp (Diluc, Dendro Traveler, Furina , and Baizhu)

I pulled Baizhu accidentally when trying to get Kaveh and have used him non-stop ever since. He makes the game so comfy and he's easy enough to build that I didn't have to worry about spending weeks farming artifacts. Haven't touched Kaveh in months though.

Seeing Baizhu's hype era is so nice. I used him on first half with my Cyno quickbloom team and I plan to use him with Neuvillette when I pull him next banner. But as a Xiao main, what really made me happy is that his teams are still in the top 10! I thought people would stop using him after last update but nope, he might be in the B tier of usage but then again, that's because a lot of people have him at this point. I used the Xiao Xianyun Faruzan Zhongli version on second half and he still works pretty well despite the lack of Furina or Benny. The inclusion of Xianyun is just that good for him

Baizhu is really good and comfy on aggravate/spread team. He has on demand team wide heals from skill, interupt resistance and further healing from burst, and dmg bonus for dendro reactions. A complete support package for dendro reaction teams.

I use baizhu every abyss. Hes my favorite healer to run with furina. I play coop a lot, and i dont see a lot of chioris, but when i do they are usually c6. Seems like a passion character for a lot of people.

Same for me, I rarely met chiori on co-op but when I did they are mostly c6. And looking at paimon moe pulls statistics, a lot of users who pulled for her go for her c6. it seems like just a whale bait character

they did chiori dirty with 2 of the best meta units and arlecchino coming out, shes very good and the best geo support for either navia or itto, if you main them even at her worse c0 with navia works better than the other options

Absolutely. She doesn't snapshot neither she buffs. Again Itto it's still stuck with just 1 real support/-buffer and that it's Gorou which u need C6 to truly stand up. I'm a true believer that Geo will never shine unless u super invest

@@yakimlukanov6964 yeah, the weird thing is thanks to chiori not being buff dependant and having 100% uptime on dolls shes so good with itto, also building her is very very easy, you can just swap your trash gold relics for husk on the alchemy table and shes done, i didnt do troupe because is almost the same damage in E but ult damageis terrible by a lot and basics, on a construct geo team you can notice the difference by only putting her 2 dolls in so any itto mains will sure welcome her, im still missing her c1 but even on navias team she feels good to play c0, using the swap makes the doll attack right away and deal way more damage after the new character swapping attacks, is usually like 30k chiori skill damage + the doll twice and then navias shotgun to over 100k extra + the shotgun after with that combo, im really trying to pull c1 now for the second doll.

I cleared this abyss using : Baizhu Furina Neuvilette Shinobu and Xiangling Chiori(C1) Navia Bennett respectively! I can totally agree that the team comps are great and do a lot of work! Every character has been pulling their weight honestly The Neuvilette Hyperbloom actually works wonders even through Baizhu's low Dendro application since there's so much personal dmg on all the characters! I've been using it in the Abyss since Furina's banner pretty much as thankfully I was one of the "few" Baizhu enjoyers out there and still am. As for the Chiori Navia I think it still is quite the DPS increase to get the C1 in such a comp as otherwise I would've probably played Zhongli instead of Xiangling to get Chiori's dmg to her max potential, I really can't fathom her without both puppets.. Otherwise without Chiori you can just put Zhongli instead and this was pretty much my team comp for the other side to the Neuvi Hyperbloom.. However I'll add that honestly Baizhu has been a godsend ever since his arrival, saving my Cyno with the seamless shield and healing, then creating a Baizhu Xi-Be Lyney team and just in general serving as a good replacement for Zhongli! Both of these characters in my mind have about the same usefulness and one of these should be in most team comps for exploration imo.

People sleep on baizhu when he can easily tank Raiden Shogun attack with just my timed Burst and Skill, and give them buffs with dendro reaction. 50k hp stats isnt even that hard to get and P Amber is super easy to get for any F2p player. Hoping I would get his C1 so i can summon double snek

YES, an abyss team analysis every cycle/banner change sounds like a good idea and also as a Chiori puller, i run shatter team with Ayato, its not about the meta, its about getting a new toy to playtest with. also Baizhu is very comfy for neuvillou team especially if ur first dendro applier is nahida because she can provide great off field dendro but not continuous reapply on new enemy. and also neuvi eats those dendro apply from nahida way too fast so baizhu with his shield and slower dendro apply is pretty useful in that specific scenario.

My Raiden/Xiangling/Chevy/Bennet absolutely slaps! It's currently my best team along with Keqing hyperbloom with Furina /Nahida/Baizhu Edit: Keqing 'quickbloom', she's built standard aggravate Thundering Fury.

Speaking of freeze teams. They are not so bad in first half if you can cut that resist from Copelia, I'd even say that in rooms 1 and 2 freeze is good. I used what I call "neo-Morgana": Kazuha (c0, r5 favonius), Furina (c0, r1 signature), Ganyu (c1, r1 amos), Charlotte (don't remember cons exactly, I believe c3 and event catalysts). Relatively premium setup but with only few constellations. First two rooms are easy walk, room 3 is a bit difficult, but mostly due to high incoming damage, dps is good enough thanks to anemo set on Kazuha and Ganyu's c1's resist cut.

i tryed losing 50/50 for chiori to try and get my final con for gorou, not only did i get her, but in 27 pulls i got C1. copium thinking they upped her rate because they know how bad her sales would be. but ya i get to be a haver of not needing a construct for her. the one i was expecting to show higher is gaming, hes a strong vap/melt user on bosses. anyone who has xianyun definitely has him and the way i got him built, hes doing 200k+ per plunge and the team is doing well over 1mil dmg per rotation, and i only got C5. only downside to my team is vary much prone to exploding, idk how many times i swap to xianyun and she just flopped over because of the right timing, bin fun though.

I'm a sucker non-Meta or underestimated characters like Kokomi, Baizhu, Yae, and Chiori. Now, I'm happier that they are climbing up the ladder coz I intentionally got their C1s for future use since Day 1. Kokomi, Baizhu and Yae went to criticism during their releases but become part of a lot of teams today, Chiori before even released. My level 90 6-6-6 talent Chiori dealing 120K burst and 75k Upward sweep and 40k Eskill is so satisfying.

My favorite teams for this cycle are variations of taser in first side (in particular, Raiden/Yae/Fischl + Venti/Kazuha + Furina + Kokomi) and either chevrouse teams or navia teams for second side.

for abyss i tried many time and with the limited characted i have the most efective(eazy not complicated meta) team would be: first half: Nahida, yelan, furina, kuki(I use furina here not only for dmg but to use hear overheal at dancing robot, as long you not dying hyperbloom dmg is enough to end it easily) second half: you can manage with Raiden,xinque, xiangling,bennet (for last geo robot using elemental skill bennet and raiden to overload and plunging attack will be faster)

I've been using Neuvillete, Furina, Fischl and Sucrose in every abyss. It's really insane fast clear as long as they are not immune to hydro. Used it first half of abyss and just hyperbloom the 2nd side for an easy clear lol

one more reason for high furina and neuv usage was that the last gravity boss gets stunned due to neuv 'e' for 10 whole seconds or heal mode furina charged attacked, i was able to 36 star only cuz of that

I actually used my Noelle team for the first time ever on the second half and she popped off. She was only level 80 at the time (since I never got around to lv 90ing her, but she was fully built) she is now level 90 and ready for the next cycle.

I like this video type. When it comes to data, I'd be curious to see NA server stats, or a pool of data that includes ALL abyss clears, not just 36 stars. Some people, even with a good account, only get 3 or 6 stars in floor twelve, and I think it'd be interesting to see what else people choose.

they are really desperate not to miss a centavo. lol. but yeah, they can make underrated chars up to meta and vice versa. they are always 2 steps ahead from criticism. Yoimiya, Kokomi, Yae, Kuki, Baizhu, Chiori.

Baizhu was my first limited 5* pull. Even skipped Nahida for him. No regrets, best healer in the game. I consider him a Zhongli-level defensive unit. Geo daddy for shields, snake daddy for heals, one for each team.

For this abyss i used Kazuha(c2), Bennett(c6), XianYun, Furina(c2) first half And Tighnari, Baizhu, Nahida, Raiden (all c0) second half Had fun trying to break the geo guy's shield with Raiden's plunge attacks lmao But i managed it with 36 stars (C2 Furina probably carried tho)

Ever since Zhongli I’ve always wanted to have a character who is Geo and uses a bow who acts as the teams main dps. That is my top type of character I want to have while my hopes and prayers for pyro traveler being a main dps is number 2.

I played for the last abyss on the first part : Nilou/Baizhu/Candace/Nahida and for the second part : Nahida/Kokomi/Furina/Chiori and it was FIRE, don't understimate any character in Genshin, they're all strong and fun ! :D

Chiori is my new favourite sub dps. At C4R1 she does more damage than my C6R1 Yae Miko, and she's much less hassle to use. No more totem spam. Woohoo!

9:30 i generally don't like the sevy 4star clears, mainly cause in my account, i can clearly see the investment difference. Its also the same case with iwintolose's all 4 star clears. Its actually why i personally 36* it myself with a true f2p all 4-star clear. By far, these all 4-star teams is the most comfy for me to clear even with less investment. First half: - Kuki, Sucrose, DMC, Xingqiu Second half: - Bennett, Fischl, Xiangling, Ningguang (This is supposed to be a chevreuse team but i don't have chevreuse, Ningguang feels the most comfy replacement from all my testing even when she's only at lvl 70)

The site used in this video as a reference isn't really a good reference if you ask me. Because not only the sample size isn't exactly big enough, but also because of how it collect samples, it allows people to do something like, quite literally boosting a characters usage rate (by putting neuvillette with 3 of their favorite characters and let neuvillette do all the work, or like the solo wriothesley etc) So yeah this site isn't exactly a good reference. I would recommend anyone who're watching this video to take in pretty much anything that comes out of this site as a giant grain of salt Despite that, it still brings up some interesting topic for us to discuss about. Like baizhu, freeze, overload, and heck even neuvillette First let's talk about baizhu. I explicitly remember some "theorycrafter" say that he's a side grade to yao yao. Which, if I'm being honest is quite a dumb statement to make when his advantages is quite obvious, and also pretty big compared to yao yao. First of all, his teamwide healing is behind his elemental skill, whereas for yao yao it's her burst If that wasn't a big enough advantage, allow me to remind you that yao yao need to stay on field in order to do that. Not to mention baizhu's elemental application while isn't more than yao yao by a lot, it sure is way better than yao yao because of how you lose application if yuegui hits you instead of the enemies. Not to mention he actually gives a paper shield that act as a temporary interruption immunity buff, which yao yao cannot do. On top of that his application follows you around unlike yuegui. So yeah it's not really a surprise he ended up being way better than just a "side grade" to yao yao For freeze team, they've really managed to make freeze team feels bad to play. Not only they keep adding enemies with freeze resistance (that stay frozen shorter than others), they also made the dancer boss have high cryo resistance while being a boss, and let the boss basically bought a house in abyss at this point. Yeah, it feels bad to be a freeze player nowadays For overload however it's a completely different situation. Not only have we been getting more and more enemies with high interruption resistance, they are also appearing in duo more often now. Not only these type of enemies are slowly replacing the typical trash mobs that you can easily group with kazuha, they also made boss rush a reality now which wasn't thought to be possible back then. Like, if you tell me a year ago that the devs will put 3 bosses on one side, I'd be laughing at you. But now... Yeah On top of that, this abyss specifically doesn't only benefit overload in making up with it's weakness, it also rewards you for using overload as well. Like first chamber, the chicken would release the spore attack if applied too much pyro, and release a charging attack that not only run you down, but also run away from you which causes a lot of time waste if you apply too much electro. By using overload you'd get neither of those because pyro would remove the electro and vice versa. Adding to that the third chamber has a geo shield which a lot of people forget, that you can actually break relatively quickly with overload It's interesting how neither freeze nor overload was nerfed or buffed directly, but by releasing new characters and new enemies changes how well it perform entirely. So yeah, when will they actually make crystalize better? Last but not least let's talk about neuvillette. His addition to the game isn't exactly a... healthy one if you ask me. You see, not only this character has way lower (arguably the lowest) skill ceiling than other characters, he also has some of the biggest increase from his constellations. Typically constellations wouldn't be that big of a deal for f2p players because it's not easily accessible, but in neuvillette's case they gave him a ridiculously powerful constellation and decided to put it at C1. Which is easily obtainable even for the f2p. Because it's literally just one more five star An existence like him not only has inflated the power level of the entire roster (not exactly a powercreep so I decided to call it inflation instead) which makes pretty much every single on field dps ever completely worthless to pull for (note, not worthless to use but worthless to pull for), his existence also made team building, understanding game's mechanic, study enemies moves etc etc a complete joke. Because why waste your time on building a perfect team, when you can just put neuvillette and 3 random characters and call it a day (which also creates the problem of making usage rate a joke)? Why learn how the game work when you can just go kamehameha and spin to win? Why learn enemies attack pattern when you can just stand there and hydro pump the shit out of your enemies? While yes, he requires his C1R1 in order to be game breaking. But it isn't entirely out of the questions for most players. Because you can well you know, save up and get his C1 at least. But still having a C1 character being effectively the equivalent of old C6 characters, is such a dumb idea. I'd rather they make the C0 better than old characters, but the improvement from constellations remain the same (like about 10%~15% dmg increase and not much mechanical improvement). Because now we're in the state where if you ever decide to pull for an on field dps (which typically already have low pull value to begin with), why would you ever pull for anyone that's not neuvillette if you're looking for power? Because of that I want to remind everyone of you who're reading this, if you ever decide to pull for an on field dps, pull for the ones you like. Yeah, I'm not recommending to brainlessly pull for neuvillette. Because if neuvillette can happen once, it definitely can happen twice. So don't ever pull for an on field dps character based purely out of power. Because it won't get you anywhere Also, with how easy he is to play while being so dominant in performance, it would make learning the game mechanics etc not worthwhile because you can always just pull for a character like him and go brrrrr. So yeah, combined with what I said about him prior it's why I think he's such an unhealthy addition to the game Anyway thanks for reading. Remember, if you don't like neuvillette you don't need to pull for him. On field dps is only worth it when you like them. Always prioritize supports instead

There are clear reasons why he wasn't popular on his release, it shouldn't be surprising. Like simply coming at the end of Sumeru that was crowded with dendro characters. As for TC you are mentioning - Zagenda77 is terrible disingenuous purposefully misleading CC, so yeah. I don't really agree about freeze. It was slaying like always in previous Abyss. In current one also can work well enough if you stun Coppelia with arkhe. Not mentioning freeze annihilates first two chambers. For some reasons people are exaggerating problems of freeze teams, for a very long time telling - ohh, it fallen off... while it comes back as top strong and popular again and again. I'm tired of hearing same stories how Hoyo made Abyss hard for freeze... since start of Sumeru, LOL. As for Neuvi - yes, you are much right and it should be clear as day. Only I want to add - that his kit is very interesting and unique concept, plus one that potentially would require fairly good skill expression. It's mainly just no limitation of the speed of turning that makes it broken and his interesting design ruined. It's not even about crazy spinning, that's just an extremum. Also - he is gamebreaking already at c0 plus Prototype Amber. His range-AoE is absolutely gamebreaking.

Yeah it feels like abyss since the start of Fontaine, has just been rigged against freeze teams. There is always some pesky enemy that makes them not optimal. Like i have Ayaka/Shenhe both with their signature weapons and i have not used either once on floor 12 since we got to Fontaine.

Thanks to Noelle being more relevant nowaday I almost never use Zhongli anymore. He is nice and very comfy when needed for team like Melt Ganyu or Yoimiya etc where you don't need more dmg but want comfort, but if I want a tanky team id rather run Noelle, Furina, Albedo and flex slot. Noelle turn the current abyss into a joke with her spin to win combo in first half and either double hydro or Xianyun plunge on 2nd half, she clear the geo shield super quick and she is strong enough to kill it within 2 rotation using 4 star weapon

as someone who likes to play in the abyss, here are some of the teams i used so far: furina noelle gorou yunjin furina noelle gorou navia furina noelle gorou xianyun furina noelle fischl beidou furina noelle bennet yunjin (vape noelle, w/o using noelle's burst) furina noelle albedo chiori gorou noelle albedo fischl gorou noelle albedo chiori (a few other noelle teams i'm tired of listing them) furina itto gorou bennet Zhongli Itto xiangling bennet furina navia gorou bennet mona navia gorou bennet mona navia zhongli bennet chev raiden sara bennet nahida raiden sara furina nahida raiden sara barbara furina eula zhongli bennet baizhu keqing furina fischl baizhu keqing beidou fischl yaoyao keqing furina fischl furina neuvillette zhongli ganyu furina neuvillette zhongli fischl furina neuvillette zhongli beidou furina neuvillette kazuha ganyu beidou neuvillette fischl baizhu furina diluc xianyun bennet furina gaming xianyun bennet nahida keqing fischl beidou nahida nilou barbara yaoyao nahida nilou xingqiu yaoyao there's more probably. i test a bunch of variations to compare them and find which one works best.i would say for side one the furina itto gorou bennet team is performing stupidly good because the rotations fit perfectly with the spawns, and itto is great at controlling the two local legend girls. he can two-cycle that chamber in less than 40 seconds (two rotations) and i wasn't even speed running and had a useless buff. noelle can do 40 or less too but it's much harder with her because the stupid girls keep getting away. neuvillette is wonky, but if i use fall damage to your advantage he can probably do it under 40 seconds too (not that i've managed to do it, or tried to begin with) out of these i think my worst team was nahida keqing fischl beidou. it was just trash. it only worked because side 2 is so damn easy to do fast that i could take over 2 minutes on side one and still win with whatever team i had on the other side.

@GenshinYuppe Nope! One of the few that doesnt! My Benny is c6 so I know for certain. I run Candace/Bennett/Xiangling/Xianyun. Energy can be a bit finicky but it's certainly managable.

Candace is 2pc Gladiator/2pc Wanderer's Troupe, I had so many kicking around with great substats and she can use all the attack and EM she can get.

9:17 just a small correction, an enemy only has to be *AFFECTED* by Cryo to get the 15% Cryo Resonance crit rate buff, not necessarily Frozen. That's just Blizzard Strayer. so you would still get the 15% crit rate.
