As a Christian, modeler, musician, and sound engineer, I just want to encourage you to do what you need. I really hope no one hurt you years ago as a pastor. They take so much pain internally and as an AV installer I see that a lot in churches over the years, but I also see the good and the healing as well. I know my RR is a form of relaxation and healing to me when I get to work on it, and you've inspired me more than you know with the IMRR phrase. It allowed me to build as I want, how I want and not be embarrassed or ashamed by it. I never would have gotten back into it. Thanks . I'll be watching- and listening, Rock On and be healed!

It’s where I release my mind of all life’s ups and downs and just model and Praise the Lord while doing so listening to my music. For 15 years I traveled and sang Southern Gospel Music (quartet style), I had a preacher tell us when we were first getting started, “boys Christian people are some of the meanest in the world. It will be easier for you to sing at a bar than some churches, and it will be easier to pick a fight at some churches, than at a bar.” No truer words were ever spoken. Prayers My Brother!!!

I get it!!! I'm a musician as well, and it is taking more and more time, but with my layout 95% done, I don't mind being away from it more. If music is your calling, then by all means DO IT!!! Model Railroading is a HOBBY, and should be fun and relaxing, and done in your free time. I'm pullin for ya man!!!!

In my years of working in the entertainment industry, I have met many people whose personal story has taken them across the map - literally and figuratively. Metal, modeling, and preaching, is relatively mild combination in comparison to some. From them I have learned there is no "sinner" vs "saint", there are just people who struggle to make the world a better place for others, and people who struggle to just overcome their own demons. I enjoy your railroad videos. And I'm willing to give your other channel a listen. At the very least, you piqued my curiosity at the term insurrection. 😉
