🟦...@3:00 This demonstration would have been better served by heating up the plate until you start to get a fairly definitive reaction from the hand boilers and then unplug the hot plate,... The liquid in the hand boilers will continue to build pressure but since the hot plate is cooling down as the hand boilers are warming up you'll get a much more pleasant reaction, it'll continue to slightly increase pressure in the boilers for a short time and then activity will begin to minimize as they cool down. This reaction won't be nearly as chaotic as the reaction shown here where you ended up with WAY Too Much heat on them, It will be a more subdued reaction, (which is MUCH more enjoyable to watch than an 'Overheated' Hand-Boiler).

I find that hand boilers use the same principles as drinking birds, except that drinking birds use evaporation to cool the top bulb rather than heating up the bottom one.
