I just bought the NEL Thunder after mulling it over for a month now. It is to be paired up with my AT Pro. Every video I have seen so far has people singing its praises and digging great coins and relics. I only use the 5x8 right now but I was looking for a coil that looks a little deeper underground. Even if it is only two inches more, give or take. I live in florida so our soil here seems to be 80% sand and 20% plain dirt, so it seems as though coins, ect. sink a bit quicker. Plugs turn into sand piles as soon as you dig them. Most of which falls back into the hole, lol. In the past three weeks my yard has yielded about 16 wheat pennies but not one single silver. Although I did find a Japanese silver cufflink marked sterling 925 down around 7 inches under a root. The home was built in the mid 50's. I'm perplexed as to why there are so many wheats but no silver coins yet. Looking forward to see what I might have missed. I hope the NEL Thunder produces some fresh goodies!

I love my Nel Thunder. Yeah I've been to places where they dropped 20 wheats and no silvers. Happy hunting. Swing it extra slow is my advice

@@diggingc.f.historymetaldet1226 Thanks for the tips! I'm a slow swinger to begin with, so it should work out perfectly for me.

Dang those scissors were massive! Most likely an old pair of tailor/dressmakers scissors. Made just for cutting long pieces of fabric.
