It’s probably weird but I love watching storms and driving in the rain on roads with very little traffic (rural areas) or parking and sitting during a downpour. Love lightning and heavy rain but hate thunder at night. During the day it’s not bad. I think watching storms can be peaceful & relaxing. We rarely get good rainstorms so that’s probably why I enjoy them.

No it's not weird. The best storms to sit and watch are in beach towns and in the country (basically anywhere you can see it off in the distance). I know people who open there garage doors and sit in there garage and watch storms move in from a distance.

I just started watching your channel again I haven't been for the longest time and now I'm mostlikely going to be almost binge watching them - tonight anyway - as I LOVE the storm vlogs you guys make especially since I'm a lover of story weather, the more dramatic the storm the better I like them. I'm not even scared of thunder or lightning.... we dont get tornados in my area of New Zealand where I live. OH and btw, last time I watched you guys was when I still had my natural dark brown hair now I have the top half natural colour and lower half dark blue faded into aqua blue which has faded a lot but it was an ocean blue ombre style which was my first ever hair dye experience of that kind! The blue flash you see are most likely a transformer blowing. We get severe thunderstorms here all the time with wind and rain. You should look into taking a weather class to learn more about hazards and what to do. They are very informative.

That's scary😯 In July in Adelaide we had a day of sever storm. It was a Saturday Middle of winter which does not happen often. The storm had a few mini tornadoes. Luckily south Australia was in lockdown for the week over 7 cases. Stay safe live you guys.

Wow, I'm glad y'all are safe. As an Oklahoman I would say those blue lights were power flashes. It's when there is arcing electricity flashes from damaged electrical equipment, mainly severed power lines. Technical explanation found on Wikipedia. I have seen this so many times living in Oklahoma. It's usually associated with damaging winds especially from tornadoes and tropical systems but it can also happen with severe straight line winds such as from downbursts and derechoes. If you are seeing power flashes you have dangerous weather occuring in your area. Tornadoes and Hurricanes are awful. We've had Tornadoes hit up here in Connecticut and do plenty of damage, heck I was home by myself when two hit the center of town while both my mom and older sister were at work. Glad y'all are safe though.

So there’s a reason why the sky does turn blue. So in the day the sun has little particles that turn it that color like violet, blue stuff like that. And our eyes are more sensitive to blue, so The strongest storms happen usually in the late afternoon when the sun is descending towards the horizon but at night there is a increase in the amount of particles causing it to turn Blue/Purple Hope this helped

I don't like tornadoes I was been at my grandma's house in 2005 I was 10 year old that time my grandma's house have hail damages and one mile away a tornado touch down ripping up the water park near my grandma's house.
