@@JNathanielBerke He’s doing really well :) He still drives his car to meet friends for lunch! Lol. He lives 20 minutes from me and I’ll be sharing this with him when I visit in a few weeks!

@@mccuenoirfilms I'm actually writing two tv series, the first based during WW2 and the second in the present. I have a main character, a journalist who ends up becoming a soldier (similar to Sam Fuller) and then serves as a mentor for the main character on the modern series. That there is a real guy, still active AND DRIVING sets an awesome precedent for our story!

I read 101AB ww2 vet, Don Burgett's book on the Bulge. Some of his unit sneaked up on German tanks at night with bazookas and took them out as they were assembling the night before the attack on Noville outside Bastogne.
