For those who don't know, the frog eats it's own molt. It takes a minute to do this. Every time the frog pushes it's eyes into his skull, he's actually forcing the molt or food down into his stomach. That's naturally how Frogs eat. So if it looks like a deep blink, it's just trying to swallow.

@@deandredunbar9618 Yes and no. Yes, crustaceans and arachnids molt in the way you describe, but we say that dogs and cats molt and they only lose hair. Perhaps there's a cultural language element, I have heard Americans say dogs shed but in the UK we say molt and refer to molting season.

I have no idea why I decided to watch this but I'm so glad I did. Now I have questions like: How did the camera person know this was about to happen? How did the frog know their skin was ready to do this? And what causes the frog to eat it's own skin? (Note to self, google this. lol) Okay that part was fascinating to watch but also gross at the same time.
