The combination of speed, grace and technique was unmatched in his day. Shame that fitness issues bogged him down and brought an early end. The last true acolyte to the Brazilian greats IMO. Asides Neymar, the rest haven't really been exceptional.

If we take every single ballon d’or winners the best ever at its prime IS KAKA. Don’t get me wrong CR7 and Messi are from another dimension for being at their prime for 15 years and but for me at PRIME on a single year Kaka is the best ever. It was perfect player no weakness: speed, skill, passing, finishing could player anywhere upfront. No wonder he won best player of the year in 2007 in front of Messi and Ronaldo.
