His wish was granted in the end, so I wonder what changed his heart. He was living in with the mistress for 4 yrs, so I hate him when he said to her in the end that he loves her. So annoying and pretentious! The lover still isn't contented of destroying her reputation by lying blatantly, and the stupid husband believed all her lies. Why a change of heart in the end seeing his ex-wife suffer & dying, isn't it their wish (with the witch lover)? Now they can hold their wedding in time with the ex-wife's burial. My heart broke when the 2nd ML died. They could have a happy ending.

Every time i see this same drama, i gotta cry. The (ex)hubby is even more vile than a scumbag. He was totally with and living with his secretary/mistress and putting down the dying wife. Really? He knows he's doing wrong, in his cheating and getting the mistress pregnant, but somehow, he still backs up the mistress instead of the wife. Kuddos to the bestie and 2nd ML/doctor! The hubby evens tries to give his ex-wife wedding candy from his wedding to the mistress. UNREAL! He coddles that mistress. This copy is actually showing more scenes in it than the other copies from other people posted that make me cry. HARD! He promised all these family and friends how he loved and would protect his wife, and he did this. I so wanted a scene that he finds out that the mistress is cheating on him and the kid isn't his. I also wanted the FL to fake her death and survive along with the 2nd ML. I wanted a scene where she's still being treated and starting to beat the cancer, and the ex hubby went bankrupt and lost everything,, including his reputation AND THEN he committed suicide at her fake grave. Maybe another writer will make my wish come true?

There was a similar drama. I can’t remember the name. ML torture S and cheat on FL because of lies SFL told him. SL fakes her death. ML learns truth and goes to her grave. SML confronts him there with FL diary. Tells him if he really feels guilty he should die as well. ML read’s diary then commits S***side on grave. They show FL looking down the hill watching him die.

其實這部虐妻的部分並不多，只是帶過而已，主要講的還是感情的逝去跟小三無關，當事人的心變了才是原因，女主執著過，最後也放手了，她認為對前夫最大的報復就是讓他在她死前都不知道她的病，好讓前夫活在遺憾中。結局雖然悲傷，但這樣或許也好，男二失去女主可能也活不下去，所以讓他先去等她了，她再去找他，男主死在女主墓前是悔恨，因為女主到死前也不留一句話給男主，真的是對他最大的懲罰。女主和朋友間的感情很動人，平實、忍耐，大家都不衝動，保護女主也尊重她的要求，没告訴男主真相。至於男主，就是一個喜新厭舊的貨，雖然他愛女主，但他也經不起誘惑、不信任女主、傷害她，所以女主最後對他心寒、不再愛他，也是他應得的。至於小三的下場，其實並不重要，會相信小三手段的男主才是真正傷害女主的人。

I know I seen this before but it’s been awhile and since I had the time today I figured why not give a go again to refresh the noggin; I still can’t get over the fact that he lets the scheming, conniving, horrid inside and out of a SFL go; he was talking about love this, begging for another chance but he can’t punish someone who caused her and other(s) pain, someone that he brought in, on a scale of all the harm the SFL caused losing her reputation doesn’t even compare. “I never thought to divorce you” “I never thought you would leave.” Seriously, why wouldn’t she? ML wasn’t just having an open affair, he was in his mistress’s favor, he was also hurting and disrespecting his Wife and allowing his mistress to do the same so the ML just expected her to take it all, stay married to his nasty behind? Idiotic thinking right there, glad she had enough self love and left, and I’m glad she was able to experience some goodness, some genuine love from the SML before things took a turn. Probably not visiting you in your dreams because she let you go, most likely off with her new love at peace; she didn’t care for you prior to passing so I don’t get why he would plan it to where he would pass at her grave.

@@saiyongdawn7756 she was pregnant, closer to the end he gives her option(s) 🙄 reputation or losing the child in which she chose reputation however, it might not be his or it could’ve been he just chose not to have anything to do with neither mom or child. Although translated it could still be choppy, one second she had a bump and then after the whole “stab” scene she was mostly flat, the ML has no interaction with any baby nor does she but it does get mentioned. It’s a bit messy, lol. I just chose to go with she was but it turned out it wasn’t his cause it would make a bit of sense with an end like that but I know in these dramas they dislike adding any type of sense. 😂

What a sad sad story....only watch it if you want to get depressed, seeing how badly the FL is mistreated by the cheating despicable husband who is sleeping with his mistress for years....and the writers don't even give the FL a happy ending.....only death.....the writers are really sadistic and sick...Although what the FL said to the despicable ML towards the end (in the hospital) is true..he got bored with her and turned to another woman....as she says, if it wasn't the schemer, it would have been someone else....she is right, he didn't love her anymore....if he really loved her he would have treated her like a loved one, not like someone he hated....that's the crux of all these abuse dramas really...she hit the nail on the head...even when he was proclaiming his love to her in the hospital at the end, she asked him to buy her pink peonies....when she was outside in the sun the next day he turned up with white ones....he wouldn't care less about her needs and wants...like she said to him....he was just feeling guilty for all the horrible treatment he unjustly gave her...

I was wondering why the husband/ML is chasing his wife back when he was the one who initiated the divorce. And at the 1/3 part of the story he hated her and loves/takes care only of the mistress. He only realized his love for her when she left him and always with the doctor/2nd ML. If that's the case, he shouldn't have divorced her in the first place. And as usual, in almost all dramas esp Chinese, the jerk scumbag husbands believe the lies of the lovers, and fall for their schemes. Then beat the wife, torture them--some even died, rape them, treat them as if they're not human beings. At the end--regrets! What a lousy, unbelievable storylines (esp when the aggrieved wife goes back to them). It's a relief that in this story, the wife didn't do the usual nonsense going back to evil husbands.

This is a more realistic drama. The FL has a brain tumour and doesn’t survive. The ML cheated on her and died of guilt - she never forgave him. Great acting from everyone! The FL is framed by mistress over and over again. The ML can't decide who he loves. The 2ML is the typical support that almost had a happy ending with the FL, but he got run over by a truck 🚚 It was actually a good storyline. But you will cry at the end 😢😭😭😭

Я не думаю, что это раскаяние. Он просто испытывает страх, что жизнь накажет его за то что он так поступил с женой. Ведь его жена сама сказала, что если бы не было этой любовницы, то все равно нашлись бы толпы других. Она очень хорошо его изучила. И да, собаке собачья смерть! Он этого заслуживает. И никакого прощения, только позор и забвение.
