I also choose to believe that the story told in "Fairytale" is actually how Bandit and Chili first met. 🥰

Ragdoll has to be my favorite Wendy episode. gotta love when she's an actual character instead of just a running gag also i do believe in Bandit's story as well despite Chili not remembering. maybe some details happened different and that's why their memories are different, but it's a story way too sweet to just ignore ^u^ also also i love so much the wholesomeness of Musical Statues, the entire final scene always makes me emotional ^u^

I feel like "Fairytale" explains some of Bandit's reactions to Bluey and Bingo's sisterly bond (for example in "Bedroom") in that he can't really understand it. Even accounting for them being significantly older in the flashback, the Heeler brothers were clearly NOT touchy feely like Bingo and Bluey are. It also makes sense with Stripe and Bandit's competitiveness, as seen in "Squash". Bandit has improved over the years, but he still feels this need to best his little brother in a way that Bluey does not.

There's an episode of Regular Show that includes Mordecai jinxing Rigby. According to the rules in their universe, anytime Rigby talked, Mordecai punched him. The only way to break the jinx was someone needed to say his name 3 times.

When I watched this episode for the first time, that's what reminded me of it. I never knew that people even did the jinx thing that way

Oh yeah i remember that episode and i also remember Rigby trying to unjinx himself and it went horribly wrong

Also I like to think it was Chilli in the flashback. My mom and dad grew up going to a lot of the same parks when they were kids, but didn't meet properly until their 20s, so we often think they must have crossed paths at some point before that.

If we consider the age difference between Joe Brumm and his brothers, then Rad is two years older than Bandit and Bandit is three years older than Stripe. That means that, in the 80s flashback, Rad was 12 and Stripe was 7.

This was the 80's the punishment for talking when jinxed was a punch in the arm, this is coming from someone who was a kid then.

Yes, the Netflix show is a remake. The original She-Ra was a spinoff of He-Man.

What I find interesting, in Fairy tales, is that, 1- Paraphrasing Red in Osp: (Overly Sarcastic Productions ) Folktales and fairytales are the myths in a newer style, while you cannot write " New myths", you can write new fairytales, so in a way, true things are in the core, with a fantastic coat around it and 2- keeping it open-ended, to me, makes it, that much more memorable and engaging. :D

I think you might have misheard in the flashback episode. I think Rad called ‘skids’, not ‘skint’. I could be wrong though. I’m not familiar with that version of Jinx either, so it might be an 80s thing or a Queensland thing (I live in New South Wales). She-Ra is definitely an 80s show. It was a He-Man spin off targeting girls.

I think the 'forever weekend' in the 'Musical Statues' episode is an allusion to heaven. That's why Bandit is confused about answering: he doesn't know his own answer yet It's possibly a neat tidbit in there for parents like the showrunners like to do. Thanks for the reaction, btw

i dont think that's the case here, i think it's an attitude to life that enjoy everyday of your life instead of just waiting for that weekend/retirement

I think that Fairytale kinda foreshadows The Quiet Game. This basically teaches that people shouldn't "keep their mouths shut" to "learn" something.

we find out later, but because of something that happened to Chilli my theory is that it caused her memory to fail her slightly so Fairytale was how they met. she just forgot :(
