I have been a driver on this pbv. MTLB 401 when I did my military service. I said I would never want to drive this PbV in case of war. It is worthless. The sound of it. You will hear it from very far away. The armor worthless. The good thing is it performance to go through tough terrain. That's my experience. 😊

At 1:20; the MT-LB has regular a crew of two, the commander and the driver. I saw the driver climbing out of the drivers hatch and running away. I have not seen a second person climbing out after it was hit by the 25 mm autocannon. And as the back armor is paper thin (just 3 mm) and as most 25 mm shells have hit the right back and the right site (which is also only slightly better protected), it is not really ecpected, that the commander has survived the hits, as he is sitting on the right site in the front.

@@artemabakumov6164 The MT-LB is a slightly armored battle taxi, good enough protected, to bring the own units to the frontlline positions and to pick up these for the transfer back. And yes, it is a tractor, to pull artillery pieces and a light protected tracked truck. It is comparable with the M113 or the wheeled Fuchs of the German army. But it is nothing to be used at the front to attack an enemy position. But it is also better than nothing.

Nah. Stationary tanks are just as this video says, used as infantry supporting guns like light howitzer. They started using this because they started bringing old tanks. The problem is armchair people started laughing for bringing old tanks but old tanks are better than no tanks. And these old tanks are made during soviet era which amounted tens of thousands. And their ammos are stored in humongous quantity, god knows how many. Russia didn't know what to do with those large amount of ammos and tanks but now it's win-win for them because they are now emptying their storehouses from these old ammos and tanks while shooting at ukrainians. Just imagine that 100.000 T55 tanks made in Soviet Union. Soviet Union didn't involve itself in big wars after WW2 (involved as only supporting partner, not active participant) so almost most that number is still intact and stored underground military warehouses by several decades. Now these T55s are used as numerious stationary guns since they don't lack ammo for these type and it easily can non-stop fire over 4km until destroyed. That's why Russia still have lots of artillery gun firepower. Old but still can kill people. Russia inherited whole Soviet Union's massive military arsenal, and Soviet Union was continously preparing for big conventional wars like WW2 during it's existence.

It's wild how quickly the West forgets what happened in world war two. The Russians always have a slow start/slow roll, but they still move forwards. People acting like a Bradley taking out how ever many tanks in the videos is stopping the Russian forces along the entire front lines. Truth is while a Bradley is going ham on a few tanks, many many more are rolling in and around the spot the Bradley holds. The Germans can tell you this: The Russians do not lose tanks and cry about it, they bring more tanks than what you are able to kill.

Those are 'guided' bombs the russians are using, if they are guided (for accuracy) why do you need four of them? The U.S., even with unguided (i.e. 'dumb') bombs, we usually use a single bomb (depending on the size of the target). Generally, included in that decision is the chances of collateral damage (do you really NEED to use a mk84 if a mk82 will do the job?).
