Hard pan...these two always work for me: Take a cotton ball and swirl the top of the product while constantly switching sides of the cotton ball. OR, take a clean, dry spoolie and lightly scrape the top.

I've noticed I can get hard pan on any product if the brushes I'm using have something like bb cream or moisturizer on them. Nothing crazy but I feel it puts almost like a waxy film over powders. Only time I've ever got hard pan

It also works to use a piece of tape, it will only stick to the hardpan bits so you wont lose too much product:)

Hard pan!!! I had this problem with an OG NARS Laguna Bronzer- I finally decluttered it since it was giving me so many issues and didn’t realize until afterwards that whenever I sprayed my setting spray, the mist would fall into the pan bc it was that product I was always using the mirror in so it was always open on my vanity! Not sure if I’m just late to the game on this one but had to share just in case ☺️

Loved this. Even though I've loved makeup since I was a teen, I only got into bronzer a couple of years ago. Reason being I thought it was only for very fair or light people who wanted to look tan so I didn't think I needed it since I am a light medium with a slightly olive undertone, typical Mediterranean tone. It wasn't until I got a mini Hourglass Luminous Bronze light in a Sephora Favourites box that I fell in looove and realized I could use bronzer to add warmth and dimension to my face as a soft contouring since I don't like actual contouring. It makes such a big difference in that it makes face look less flat. Since then I've gotten a few more that I love : Nars Laguna for more of a matte , Becca bronzer in Bondi Beach(similar glowy effect to the Hourglass), Physicians Butter bronzer(beautiful but definitely changes quickly, less blendable creaminess the longer you have it), I got the Jouer duo because of you in Medium/deep! And I love it. I recently got the Elf primer bronzer because of Andrea, nice but not as glowy and blendable as higher end. Finally, just found the Marc Jacobs Omega bronzer in Tantric at Winners for only 19.99 Canadian! 😮. I was stunned because it's still $45 on sale on Sephora so wasn't expecting to be half that. I've worn it once, it's very, very light and natural, gives a warm glow but I have to really build up. I wish they had the one you have 104 cause it would show up more. Anyway I get the bronzer obsession but I would say the best one out of all I have is still the 1st love, the Hourglass Luminous Bronze Light. I have the mini and I still haven't hit pan yet so won't bother to buy full size, it's not necessary unless its the only one you'll use. Might try other colours because it's Soo gorgeous on the skin.

I scrape the top of anything that has hard pan with a clean spoolie! Just very gently to scrape off the top layer that has gotten gross for whatever reason. It usually makes it work like new!

Hi!! For hard pan - it’s easy to get off :) place a piece of regular house hold tape on it and when you peel it off, the hard pan will come off!! Also, it can form from oils from your face on the brush you’re using. Regardless, don’t toss it. Use tape to get it off :) don’t waste product by using a spoolie!

Sometime very finely milled, tightly packed products can be sensitive to even the moisture that is on your brush, so if your face is somewhat damp from primer, moisturizer, etc. Some of that moisture can pick up on your brush and build in the product pan as you re-dip. Fine, tight packed products absorb more that way than a looser packed product that easily lifts off when you brush it. I don't thave the CT bronzer but that would be my guess. I always just scrape off with a clean fingernail or dry clean washcloth. Could try that and pair with drier face products and see if the issue develops again. Great video!

I don’t know why but those NARS bronzers in Casino and Samoa look so beautiful when you swatched them! I still kick myself for not buying that puppy 🐶 bronzer! The only way to pan bronzers Sam, you have to use the same one for a year. Some bronzers even take longer to finish. I had finished a Becca Capri Coast and a Benefit Hoola. So, I think you do a good job Sam in using all your bronzers.

To remove the sticky on the Nars bronzer, very lightly tap with acetone. Then, lightly buff with a paper towel. Repeat until it's all gone. 😘

For hard pan, I just scrape off the layer with a spoon or a makeup spatula. Light light hand! But leaves it looking pretty and without hard pan. Never tried the tape trick....

With the colourpop bronzer, you can (fairly easily) depot it and keep the compact for another colourpop cheek product. Its just held in with a magnet.

I recently got rid of physicians formula. I was considering decluttering since they arent cruelty free anymore but figured I already spent the cash so I'd keep it. The my kid borrowed it...and it broke. So bye bye PF lol I only have a few and I'm very happy with them! Charlotte Tilbury and Ofra River are my favs!

I think I bought that Makeup Forever contour shade at the same time as you did! I bought a small container for it too, so I could use it as a single product and not put it into a palette. It was the only contour shade in my collection and I used it up!!! I also used up the Physician’s formula bronzer - it was the only bronzer me and my sister used for 2 years, I think. It was very satisfying hitting pan on it and eventually using it up. I’m not going to repurchase it though, because I grew tired of it lol

@@SamanthaMarchxo I don’t know about the tape fix so I haven’t tried anything. Loved this bronzer before this and it wasn’t cheap! 🥺

Maybe try having a dedicated brush for the Charlotte Tilbury bronzer. Or always use a clean brush. I would always get hard pan in my pressed powders if I used the some brush with them and blush.

I got hardpan on the Charlotte Tilbury bronzer too! I use tape or a spoolie to remove it, but it’s so annoying. Customer service sent me a replacement, but I’m trying to make the first one work.

A clean spoolie brush can help with hard pan. Works much better than tape, its just a bit mesy
