The next time you see pickled eggs, try the ones pickled with beets. The juice will be dark purple, and the eggs will be a medium shade of purple. We think they are the best, but there are all kinds out there to try. My granny and my mom always made the beet ones. So so good!

My mama use to make this cake, especially at Christmas. She also would put it in a 9x13 dish which is how I usually make it. I usually see pickled eggs in the beet juice. That might be better. Interesting walk you all had. I love doing things like that. Thanks!

We had to laugh at the video you guys had martins potatoe slider buns...we ate the same brand. We're in upstate new york in finger lakes area (way west of NYC..hours away!) So fun to see same walmart items you buy way down south ..and it's the same up here. Just not the weather...no gardens in up here. So amazing to see you have baby peppers growing! Love watching
