No one, and I mean absolutely nobody deserves to have this happen to them. Anyone who can keep going after something like this is incredibly strong. Excellent job Kim. Stay safe and clean everyone.

Hi. I’m 2 years late to this. Just happened to have an episode and was looking for a comfort audio I hadn’t already heard. Figured I should put this here despite the lateness. Thank you, for being willing to make an audio like this. It was far more explicit about the intended meaning than many others, and I’m sure many others appreciate that too. Personally, my first time wasn’t by choice and it’s always been something that I struggle with. I’m NB but I was masculine coded for the longest time, anytime someone irl would discover what happened I’d get one or two responses. Either a “well, no wonder you don’t bring that up, so don’t, handle it yourself like you should” (a real thing that was said) Or even worse “well maybe you actually have some understanding of what real women experience multiple times a lifetime. You still can’t understand our fear” (another real thing said to me) I was neglected and left to handle it on my own, because it happened to what was at the time a little boy. It was so bad for so long that I wondered what I did to deserve it, I had to have, no one had any sympathy for it, so what other explanation was there? No one cared enough. So I just left it be. It’s really torn me up psychologically and left me with some emotional scars that I’ll probably never fully heal. This message is something I’ve been struggling to learn. It’s still extremely isolating irl, and online I don’t normally mention anything to do with my gender (for many reasons but this is often one of them), frankly it always scares me that me not being outright cis female somehow invalidated what happened. So ya. Thank you. Truely. You could have fully Fem-coded the audio like every other one covering this topic, but you didn’t. You stuck to the gender neutral terms and it was appreciated immensely by this NB peep at the very least. Again, thank you. Honestly.

You are so welcome, and I’m so sorry that happened to you. I’m sorry that people said hurtful or dismissive things. You didn’t deserve it, and you were always worthy of love and support to help you heal. I hope that you’re able to find that love and support now, because you are seen, heard, and worthy. Manifesting healing and wonderful things for you for your best and highest joy and good. 💕

Mentions and descriptions of SA I've been a victim of 2 people who I think didn't mean to do it or had reasons to do it. But no matter what I say it's not true. You don't just randomly stick your hands down your partners shirt not knowing if they have a bra on or not or randomly slap you classmates bottom but no matter how I feel it won't go away

Kim, hope you're doing well. Thank you for this wonderful video. The message you are giving that the victim is never at fault, is the message that's so important. This was so well done, so supportive. As teenagers my mum taught me and my brother that us women should be able to dress as they wish without getting harassment, told my bro and his friends to always accept no the first time you are given a no.

True man. Women SHOULD be able to dress like they want, go out at night, drink in bars without getting drugged....Bad sadly this is a World which isnt ideal. Men and Women have to protect themself even if it seems unfair that they have to. I bring my girlfriend to her workplace when it gets darker in winter mornings and take her home. Her friends seem to think its too much because "nothing ever happend" but I dont care. She knows why I do that and is thankful and enjoys it as " little date walks " and doesnt see it as mansplaing or something like that.

tw!! sexual assault in september i was sa so many times by this one boy and i kept going back to him over the span of a week and each time he would gr0pe me and kiss me even if i pulled away. i was scared to say no even to hang out w him. i was 12 he was 13 which isn’t that big of a difference but he was sm taller than me. i was 5’4 he was 5’10 and for my little 12yr old brain that was a huge difference. sometimes i just get flashbacks and it’s so fucked i hate myself for it lolz

Just a piece of advice… if someone is sexually assaulted, the police need to be notified immediately, the hospital is also a good place. A rape kit must be done immediately

I cam out as gay at my high school, and when some boys found out i was sexualy assaulted three times. It got so bad that i had to get my friend and boyfriend to come with me and stand in front of the stall, because i was so scared to use the bathroom.... And the school wouldnt do anything or the police. Now... Ive lost most of my friends over summer break.... And ill have to home school now. And because of what happened... I only have my boyfriend and my best friend

Alright most likely long comment incoming so brace yourselves (I also feel like I should throw up a TW for the same subject matter as in this video): First thing's first WELCOME BACK KIM (I know about the live stream I was there, I'm talking about back to videos) with another BRILLIANT audio as ever :-D Next I'm SO happy you made this video F4A and not EXCLUSIVELY F4F because even though it's definitely not talked about as much... this stuff happens to guys as well (not talked about to the point that until recently in my life I was under the impression that this only happened to women) and to make sure was making a mountain out of a molehill I checked some numbers and... yeah I kind of wish I hadn't now because what I found made me VERY uncomfortable (if you want the number go to bottom of the comment*). To cut a long, depressing and Rambling sentence short I think its amazing that you labeld it so any men who went through something like this comfort too To hopefully end this comment on a less depressing note, the script was absolutely amazing to the point where I feel the need to ask if I took inspiration for something from this who should I credit in the wrighting, you or someone else? I only ask because I'm in the process of writing something that requires a scene like this and due to my lack of experience with subject I REALLY wouldn't be comfortable writing without some kind of... I'm struggling to find a better word than "inspiration" but I hope you know what I mean. Related to my lack of experience or knowledge of this subject... will someone please tell me if they find this comment in any way problematic or hurtful and I'll delete it no questions asked. *(for anyone curious about the numbers here In the uk in March 2017 over that last year: Women: aged 16 to 59: 510,000 which is just utterly horrific. Men: aged 16 to 59: 138,000 which while a smaller number I personally believe is still factually a HORRIBLY big number) (Source: rapecrisis.org.uk/get-informed/about-sexual-violence/statistics-sexual-violence/)
