I have their 1/400 version of A220 and it has just as awfull front landing gear, which is pretty amazing achievement. Really ruins the model.

@AJ-nf9nh Tbf though, the front gear from other manufacturers are passable at best specifically on the A220. Tires are way too big and far apart

​@@sliferxxxxNow when you mention it. I also have Gemini Air Canada model in 1/200 and the front wheel are really far apart, way too much so in it aswell. Front gear is apparently the real achilles heel of A220. In all scales 😄

@@AjKj1205 People buy their models because they are the main 500 scale manufacturer, so that means collectors settle for less than they should.

The A220 is a beautiful aircraft in any livery. Unfortunately, Herpa does a horrible job in recreating this aircraft in the 1/500 scale. The cockpit section doesn’t look right and the overall look is ruined by the ( hugely) oversized front landing gear. To make matters worse, this particular model ( awful livery BTW) is made worse by the lack of even basic details. So, if you want a realistic A220 model, do yourself a favor and get a 1/400 scale model by either Gemini or JC Wings.

Yeah, I think your and everybody else's comments under this video sum it up pretty well what collectors are thinking of this non effort model from Herpa Wings
