This entire fight was a massive ego check for Sasuke. Itachi was sick and dying and he STILL mopped the floor with Sasuke. He had Sasuke pinned against a wall and physically trembling in fear right before he died. I love Sasuke but holy shit was it so gratifying to hear him talking all that shit the whole fight just to finish it trembling in fear for his life at the end of his rope against someone who was dying and wasn't performing at his best to begin with. Kakuzu's theme playing when Amaterasu was revealed was the most hype thing for me and is still my favorite part of the whole fight scene

I refuse to believe that some people here dont see that itachi could have kiled sasuke with susanno the same what he did with orchimaru. And easily too. One swipe with the tuska blade and he wouldn't see it coming. All Sasuke did is to brake Tsukuomi on himself, aside from that he did nothing, Itachi let him do his moves and pretend like he was fighting "serious". The original idea for Itachi was that him to remain evil, but due to huge amount of Love the character received, the author changed him later and make him from villian to hero.
