I didn't even miss the food on the cruise ship. This dish was just as good if not better.

Thank you for helping me with the rice measures. The Itaki recipe book and their brochure conflict about mini cups versus regular cups. Some cooks, online, use dry measure cups for rice and liquid, but I haven’t seen anyone using a liquid measuring cup. It’s confusing! Your recipe looks great! I’m making star anise chicken, tonight.

Kathryn Sargent you’re welcome. I’m glad that the videos are helpful. My Itaki didn’t even come with instructions manual. I got the recipe booklet and that’s it. So many things I had to figure out on my own. And some stuff I’m still finding out😊 Star anise chicken yummy!

Is it more convenient than cooking on a stove?
@judithroque40092 жыл бұрын
Only if you’re on the go. If you like hot lunches at work or school. It’s very handy if you live in dorms, too.

Do you think we could do a chicken afritada or tinola in here?

my only thing to add is I'd cut up the baby corn as it's too big but it's a great meal.

Eden Heaven I’m not sure. I never paid attention whether the cup has marking for measurement.

Thanks for posting, im interesting in buying but i have so many questions - can you use it to reheat food? if so do you put water in...or how do you do it?

Tazariaaa you need watch my first video where I reviewed the lunchbox in detail. Hope your questions get answered. But yes you can use it to reheat food. And every time you use it need to put water in the base of the cooker. kzbin.info/www/bejne/eH_aeoJ-ocyjepY

The rice part is confusing. Whats your rice mesurement? The cup that comes with the Itaki is super small, its seems you have a lot more rice in there. Can you clarify? Thanks!

Where can I get the little cute spoons
@judithroque40094 жыл бұрын
Eden Heaven I collected them from food canisters. They happen to have measurements marked so they’re convenient to use. But try Amazon. They may have some.

How long did you cook it for please?
@judithroque40095 жыл бұрын
F00dy 0wL around 30-35 min. Your lunch box keeps cooking as long as there’s water in the base. So it may take a couple minutes longer if you put frozen items in. So I always start mine 45 minutes before my lunch break and so it has time enough to cook. It keeps hot for a long time afterwards.
