My family loves having hot pot! This little itaki pot is so nice to have ❤️
@AndreaCooksatHome2 жыл бұрын
Haha we love it too! There’s limitations to doing it this way but imagine hot potting away from home! Lol we have had a normal dinner at home with in laws with the itaki hot pot going on at the side.

It’s a fun thing to do - usually on a much larger scale (4+ people) but think the shabuki can handle 2!

We got a cast iron pot for this, and we're going to launch into our own first hot pot soon! We'll have to use some of your amazing ideas here, because this just looks amazing Andrea! Thank you for the great video!

Yup, I love mushrooms too, but I hate cleaning them. I wish (unrealistically) that a species will evolve that doesn't get dirty. haha

Haha! At that point is it really a mushroom?

What can I use in place of the fish cakes? I can find breaded fish Pattie’s but that’s it. Thanks.
@AndreaCooksatHome2 жыл бұрын
Hi sorry! Fish breaded Pattie’s aren’t quite the same thing, and I can’t think of anything offhand that would be similar to fish cake. Fish cake is optional though, so you can still have a great hot pot without it and hope you find some for next time! Can always just use fish or other seafood too, but don’t leave it in too long (depends on fish) or they overcook fast!
