Mama Gina, I want to say thank you to your son-in-law for recording all these precious videos of your making all the special things we use to enjoy as children. I know recording, editing and putting all the details in before posting them is a lot of work. So BIG THANK YOU to him and anyone else that may have a hand in on it. My Aunt Mary use to make these and we use to say they were so light that they floated in the air. LOL! Much love and many blessing to you and your family. ❤️

Consider downloading the videos that you like. There are various ways of doing that. Check google 'download youtube video'. If you are using Firefox browser, you can install Add-on "Easy KZbin Video Downloader" and / or "Video DownloadHelper". Otherwise, google and find sites that you enter the URL of the video page, and it downloads for you. No guarantees using those sites - nothing is free.

Loretta Enz: Doesn’t her son-in-law have some good standards. I mean cherishing a woman like this and sharing these videos. So kind. It’s brilliant that no one corrects her or talks over her. She seems to direct everything and he’s not putting himself into it. They’re precious moments that he’s sharing.

Italian Grandma I love your cooking! My grandma was also Italian, we are in South Africa. She used to make potato gnocch with bolognaise sauce, If you can make this one day for us it would be just awesome. God bless you.

Those look Delicious! I made those the first time when I was 15 years old at 3am in the morning . I had a sweet tooth!.... I opened up a cook book and looked for a recipe that I knew I had all the ingredients for. My parents were shocked when they woke up in the morning to see what I had made while they were sleeping. Another name for these is cream puffs. Thanks Gina! You are amazing!

My friend's name was Josephine, and every year, on the Feast of St. Joseph, she would come into work with St. Joseph's pastries. She bought them at a bakery in her neighborhood, though. St Joseph's Day is the 19th, so I still have a week to make these.

Oh my, you remind me of when I was growing up in NY. THE FEASTS! What great times! I'm 66 now and had to move from NY. My grandmother used to shop down at Arthur Ave. for things to cook all the time. Especially the holidays.

John Brady I’m also 66, my mom went all out at this time of year. What I remember most was the individual egg baskets she made from dough and put a colored egg in them and then baked them. I’m the only one in my family who learned all the Sicilian pastries an cookies. 👍

Joan Cook my mom's side of the family is Sicilian and my great grandmother used to cook all the wonderful treats. Sadly only a few of her recipes exist as she did t write any of them down.

Awe Grandma Gina. I just love you. Your so special and I just love how you talk with your strong accent. As soon as I see you have posted I'm right there waiting to watch you. You ARE THE THE BEST EXAMPLE OF WHAT A WOUNDERFUL MOM AND GRANDMOM SHOULD BE LIKE. I MAKE A simular custard but mine is for rice pudding using the whites as well as yolks and 4 cups milk scalded. It makes a lovely smooth custard to go with rice, raisins topping with vanilla cream served warm or cold. 👍🍮☕🍴🥄🍰🍦🍡. Bon appetite 💞.

Exactly my sentiment. Her videos make my day. I love to cook, and there are few to appreciate the work and love. They want instant. But I love love love cooking like Gina where I can name all the ingredients. When she says, "Tastes so good." there's nothing like it. I watch all the videos just for her. I love her voice, her enthusiasm, and her methods.

You remind me so much of my grandmother. A fond memory of her is that she wore an apron like yours everyday. It's a pleasure to watch and listen to you. Love your recipes, thank you

Gina I love what you do I recently sent a link to my niece who lost her Nona that sounds just like you and cooked up loving food and taught us all fantastic Italian food! Because we now found our heritage and do our own tomatoes as per your recipe. God has blessed you with a gift thank you.

I love Gina. Reminds me of my grandmother. I very much agree with another comment. This generation of cooking is gone. I miss my grandparents. I try to cook as much as i can too share with others but this is amazing. Keep singing Gina, your beautiful inside and out. I’m definitely going to make these. Have a great day! ❤️
