@@jmramos0109 as an Italian, I can confirm you that is not former. Parata d'eroi is played in practically every ceremony (marches, oaths, celebrations) of armed forces and police in Italy.

they now march in a civilized fashion. no goose stepping. the lessons of Mussolini fascism has not been lost on the Italian leaders psyche. I suspect they are better military than ones sent to Ethiopia. great Roman tradition to be upheld as well.
