They were amazing, just without radar it was a no win situation. But the Italian soldiers and pilots were second to no one.

I wonder if the Nazi clerks were handing out receipts with assurances that the Wermacht was only borrowing the coats, blankets, and skis. "Not to worry. Just hold on to this claim ticket and after we all get back from Stalingrad everybody is going to get their stuff back."

So sad to note NONE of the jackets or skis reaches the Axis forces freezing in Russia that winter, the trains were harassed by Soviet Partisans all the way, tracks were blown and coaches caught on fire etc... whatever remaining arrived in the late spring!!

they are not trying to pass it off as war footage, it's stated that it's prewar footage since that particular carrier was sunk, try understanding the language instead of making these kinds of assumptions
