Italian 🇮🇹 VS. North American 🇺🇸 🍁 Gravity Flush Toilets

Here's a very quick & dirty recording comparing toilets in Italy 🇮🇹 vs. North America 🇺🇸 🍁 .
Granted that this one in our home is a very old one (and we'll probably replace it one day), but truth be told, despite all the fancy supermodel toilets I've come across in this amazing European country, North America takes the cake on this one...if not only for CanAm W.C.'s AWESOME siphonic action and abundant trap seals!
(Although I must give honourable mention for virtually non-existent "splashies" 💦 on the European side!) 😂 😂

I think it’s crazy not having a isolation valve for that toilet!! 😟

LOL...You're not wrong! This particular toilet's been like this for years...without any issues (so far!). But you never know when Murphy's going to be rear his ugly head. I say this as only minutes ago our also-longstanding laundry tub trap fell off while doing a load of laundry! 🤣 (Hmmm...maybe I should've brought my handtools with me!) As I mentioned, most all other toilets I've seen do indeed have a shutoff valve at the water source.
