I am disappointed that the history of Europe did not include the rest of Europe lol. Among the things ommitted by this are the lrish War of Independece, the Irish Civil War, the Spanish Civil War, the Winter War, the Battle of France, the Italian front of WWII, the Stalingrad campaign, the Normandy invasion, the Greek Civil War, the Yugoslav Wars, and more that I can't remember right now.

One of the key points of early WW1 is that Russia needed time to get all those soldiers to the front due to Russia's vast size and poor railway systems. Germany intended to knock France out before Russia could get those millions to the front.
