Agosto non è un buon periodo per visitare l’Italia. Se Lei è d'accordo con questa domanda, quale delle seguenti è la Sua risposta? a. Anch’io penso di sì. b. Anch’io la penso così. c. Ciao Midori! Le risposte alla prima domanda sono corrette grammaticalmente, ma preferisco la b e la c. Si potrebbe dire anche semplicemente: Sono d'accordo. Per quanto riguarda la seconda domanda, le risposte d ed f non sono corrette; per esprimere disaccordo possiamo dire invece: Non sono d'accordo. La risposta e non è sbagliata ma non ha molto senso dopo una domanda di questo tipo. In definitiva, secondo me si potrebbe semplificare tutto in questo modo: È d'accordo con questa affermazione? a. Sono d'accordo. b. Non sono d'accordo. :)

I really struggle with Italian language conjugation with verbs and sentences and I also find it difficult to interpret and understand Italian language speakers when they speak in a conversation. For example, I tuned into Italiano Rai Radio Uno and listened to the Italian Football Commentary of a match between Juventus versus Inter Milan and I think Italian Football commentary is spoken in the Past Subjunctive as the Game continues. Eventually I realized that I only understood certain words but not whole sentences then also came to the conclusion that I don't actually understand any of it correctly or fluently when an Italian is talking. This really upset me after years of learning and I became extremely Irritable and annoyed because I decided my years of hard work studying Italian language hadn't worked and my efforts had failed. I am devestated and still struggle to comprehend Italian language. So, I do not know what to do learning anymore. Maybe it is because I am not intelligent enough at languages. Buongiorno Antonio! Italians chatting on the radio may be quite difficult to understand - inside jokes, jargon, idiomatic expressions... and you can't even see their face while they talk. Also, football commentators tend to speak very quickly! You shouldn't feel bad about not understanding much. It may sound odd, but actually formal language can be easier to understand than colloquial speech. You may try with more standard Italian, like the news (we have an entire playlist where we read headlines together), documentaries, or even TV shows with subtitles - provided that the actors are not speaking dialect or have a heavy accent. Keep it up! 💪🏻
