Am 61 years old an adore these studio one so much, used to watch my mom an uncle plus the older folks dancing to these, now I appreciate them so much, plus I know Robbie Shakespeare who was the bass guitar player, and I used to see Leroy Sibbles and the heptones practicing next door where I used to live in East Kingston, 47 mountain view avenue to be correct, still remember hearing them over Mr giffy a smoke weed ana sing

it does the same thing to me also. I can remember when I first heard it. It was the early 80s, when I first started listening to Reggae music. I remember thinking how beautiful it was and like all the other comments say, it was the feeling it gave. Pure bliss.

Queen of the minstrel is not a cover of the impressions minstrel and queen, you are getting it confused. Queen majesty is the Jamaican cover version of minstrel and queen. Don't worry a lot of people get confused about this.
