As a mixed race kid of 7 years old my mother took me here on my first ever holiday …. It was the most magical time of my life and it forever holds a place in my heart , I remember the Italian people were so nice to me and so welcoming … it was 1987 and I always remember the song “La bamba” was playing on all the radios ….. thank you Elba and all the Italian ppl 🙏🏾
