It is something the English football microcosm will never understand. Italy compete with Brazil and Germany (and more recently Spain and France) for titles, there is no competition with England. Italians respect those teams because they know how to win and how to lose graciously; Brazilians, Germans, Spaniards and Italians know when to admit the opposition was simply better. England don't know how to win, don't know how to cope with loss and can't even accept that they are not part of the conversion when we talk of international football's greatest teams.

Germany and Italy have ALWAYS respected each other in terms of football rivalry, I never recall Germany booing Italy's national anthem nor the other way around...I never recall laser pointed at the rival goalkeeper nor I recall young kids being taunted or laughed at.. Denmark should have been in the final and I'm sorry for them but the moment we figured out we had to go against England at Wembley me and some friends were joyful...making the English cry in their backyard was a fantastic opportunity..

Aight I don’t care if I look like an idiot anymore because I know what I am saying is true. So I am from England, which you can tell but can you please not associate all of England with a small minority of people, which I just call hooligans because they aren’t true fans, and thats coming from an England fan. Most of us normal fans were watching from home, and just chanting and celebrating our goals and wins during the tournament like any normal fans would do, yet I still have to come down to hundreds of comments like this which I just don’t think isn’t fair for the majority of fans. The tournament is over and Italy won, which if I’m being honest was very deserved. However, as I said before it was only a small amount that booed other anthems, even Italy fans booed Spains national anthem but I’m not going around saying all italy fans are the worst because I know it wasn’t many that would have done it. As for the actual team playing, England played very well, did decent in the group stages but in the knockouts we beat germany, ukraine, and denmark. Also, wether it was a penalty against denmark is a whole other decision but in the end of the day it is down to the ref and not actually England, also there was contact between the knees with sterling and the first player and obviously the second player made a small amount of contact but denmark shouldn’t have had that freekick as well, plus the broke one of the rules during the freekick itself (can’t remember it but thats fine). Also, footballs home is technically England, since it was created there, became an official sport there and all the rules created there (there were most likely different versions of this played around the world with a similar concept).

Filipao, a list of good players doesn't automatically create a team. Other nations produce equally good players, they just don't overhype them as much. And England's default gameplan is way too negative... here I don't mean just Southgate, every team of theirs since 2000 has been guilty of this. Also very rarely do you get two consecutive tournaments where the draw is so favourable. They've reached one semi-final and one final playing against Colombia, Sweden, Croatia, Ukraine and Denmark; the only big name is Germany, who are at their lowest since the early 2000s. Not one time have they had to face France, Spain, Portugal, Brazil or Argentina: that's surely unseen of in the history of football.

I'm italian but I don't blame you at all. I know well how you're feeling because I've seen Italy lose a World Cup final at the penalty shootout back in 1994 against Brazil and, maybe in a most heartbreaking way, an Euro final in 2000 at the golden goal (very bad idea from FIFA) against France. Obviously I've celebrated an incredible achievement for my national team because we came from the lowest point in our history missing the World Cup finals in 2018, but I know well your feelings. @@AlexGriffin239 As a Scot, my dream along with every other Scot was to see Little England get to the final and lose on Penalties, when it went to penalties, I knew Little england would lose, when Argentina, France or Germany ever play little england at the world cup, I along with all the other Scots always support, Argentina, France and Germany, I hate England so much, England are a nation of 56 million uneducated twats, I went to my local here in Glasgow and everyone was supporting Italy, the best team won, they were the best team at the Euro's and about your tears, I was in tears as well, tears of Laughter 😂🤣🤪🤣😂
