Ten to midnight and this sad old ex driver is still hanging in there to the end,used to use the Chiasso run when empty on the way home after regular weekly run to Leonardo at Malpensa,also had same feelings about the Blanc tunnel having run though 2days before the fire and for long time would only use Frejus,just to say it's not only people that watch you videos Pete ex driver happily?? Now retired after 47 years of European and ME transport,your videos bring back a lot of memories thanks mate

Nice to reminisce for me Pete,travelled a lot of the roads you did in this vlog few years ago all be it in my van,I miss Euro driving so much so that I’m going back to it soon,I think it gets in your blood and I laughed at how the Swiss are good at relieving you of your hard earned🤣🤣🤣also the Arlberg Tunnel is pretty long from memory,2 hours just chilling watching this,thanks again.PS,I watched till the very end,love that route coming down from the Blanc

I drove through the tunnel the day b4 the fire and slept by the petrol station and seen all the fire fighters and rescue ppl driving to the tunnel, it was very very disturbing to see what was happening.

Yep. Watched until the end, Wall of death and all. The part up until Chiasso I could dream but after Novara/A4 it is all new to me. As a four year old I must have crossed one of the St Bernard tunnels but honestly can't remember. Cheers for the video!

Why is the 2nd tube in the Gotthard tunnel closed?! - It is the same problem in ETS 2 there is the 2nd tube allso closed and the tunnel is 2 lanes with80 km/h speedlimit until just before Italy. But cool to see the Gotthard and the Mont Blanc tunnel on the same truck video - thanks for that!

Fantastic video, watched to the end. I would’ve loved to have tried European work but never got the chance when I lived in England. Moved to Canada 16yrs ago, drove US/Canada for first 6yrs and then quit driving totally. The only way I’d move back is if I was offered European work, which will probably never happen lol
