The Ogiso/Benin people are descendants/reminants of the destroyed IFE with the people that came back with Oduduwa from his journey. It was a clash of civilisation between them that caused fight and misrule that made of them to send emissary to IFE for help. Oranmiyan was sent to them to go and instill orderliness and governance into place, which was why the first thing Oranmiyan did was to create USELU/OSELU meaning; governance and politicking. It's wealth and fame they got from trading directly with Portuguese that is making them to be overhyping their achievements.

The first oduduwa ooni was born through the lineage of oranfe.
