I heard that this visit to Piccola Opera Charitas was made possible with the support of the Giulianova Festival Band Organizing Committee, which is truly a wonderful thing. The marching band contest has great significance, but I saw the people at the facility really enjoying the performance and marching, especially the people in the back right corner of the screen, and I was reminded of the inherent power and splendor of music to bring joy to people. I am sure that the girls of the Waseda Wind Band were able to have an unforgettable memory of their direct communication with the people at the facility.
Watching to the end , I was honoured for the kids , by the massive respect given to them by the lady at the hospital for doing a charitable performance to all the patients. Again this very common by the bands when they tour abroad in supporting the local community and we mustn’t forget , they pay to be there, (or the mums and dads I should say)🙏 Arigato Nippon.
Gracias por compartir su viaje. Deseo lo estén pasando muy bien, tanto como yo con sus videos 👏👏👏👏👏🙏

Japanese High School Bands are just leap years ahead. And these kids are doing this as their club activities which is on top of their school activities. This kids train /rehearse on average 40 hours per week over 7 days including high days and holidays 🙏👏

@@Dodger0103 these teeners are particularly interesting as they don't merely belong to a wind band club but are actually enrolled in an exclusive three-year senior high school brass band course! cheers!

@@musgrave6886 You are right, but the academia of this school is very and their education system is pretty hard, so schooling takes priority. Which is the parents enrol them at a fair amount. The wind Orchestra is part of the academy, but the marching band is a club activity, which they do in their own time and run it themselves. And all top bands work on the same principle.
Beautifully executed and very enjoyable performance. I only wished there were closeup shots of each member when they removed their Pershing cap to show their beautiful faces. I will love to see the pretty face of that lady with the clarinet seconds from left, with the pack behind her, she is cute especially when she makes those moves.

So who would you rather watch at a Super Bowl halftime... some phoney-baloney, lip synced Hollywood production that looks like every other production? Or these guys at double their strength in numbers...?
