I fished that spot on 1106 a LOT growing up there. I've seen people drive their rock crawlers up the river, and I used to walk up it quite a ways to get to some deeper holes. Used to be a low water crossing before they built that bridge.

explore down the bank of the Nolan where I do the stop. i was to chicken to go on my 500lb bike without some there to help me pick it up. will do it again on my 690 and explore the river more. there is a water crossing just aobut 100yards from where I pull off on the river bank.
