@victor ` if you haven't discovered them already, Mirai Akari, Pinky Pop Hepburn and HIMEHINA have English subtitles on most of their stuff It's nice if you want a backlog of videos to work through. I recommend PPH and HH highly, but I'm still watching through akaris stuff

Fun fact: The earliest known scissors appeared in Mesopotamia between 3,000 and 4,000 years ago, and were a spring-shear type of scissor made usually of bronze. However the modern pivot-type scissors were invented by the Romans in roughly 100AD, and during the 19th century it was not uncommon for barber scissors to be hand crafted and elaborately decorated.

Well, this channel might take a bit of a hit because KZbin is deciding to remove community captions..... You know, the very thing that’s allowed someone to bless us with English subs whenever a new video is uploaded? Yeah, KZbin thinks not many videos use it...
@toasterkolin99513 жыл бұрын
God, KZbin just never seems to do their homework huh? They add things nobody asked for, they constantly screw around with the UI, the bot is ruined beyond repair, and they remove farely important and prominent purely just because they don't have the mental capacity to look around and think about what channels might use those features.

As a guy I must point out that......I've NEVER experience ANY haircut longer than 10 mins in my whole life (almost 30) And there's no such thing as soothing ASMR sound material in buzzing noises of those electric clipper... It's good to know that getting a haircut can also be a relaxing activity, barbers in real life usually rush out men's haircut to be done ASAP ...probably because we pay way less than women for a haircut, and we need way less, too. Hope I can experience a soothing and relaxing haircut in real life though, no electric buzzing sounds at least...
@GuardianOfTheHeaven4 жыл бұрын
Can relate. But at some point in my early years, I happened to stumble upon a shop that offers free haircut that time, and upon going in, the person doing the hair cutting were in fact students, with their boss guiding them. At least they're cute, though! Needless to say, since they're still learning much, each sessions would take at least 1 hour or so, so I went there as early as possible, whenever I need one. This is a story from years ago, so they weren't there anymore. It's a pleasant experience, still.

As a long haired dude, I can say that getting my hair cut or trimmed with scissors is hella pleasing.
