I disagree over UFO, the whole point is an exploration of Straker as a character and the fact that despite her sexual appeal and his loneliness he still puts the position of the Earth over his personal needs, And there is nothing wrong with a bit of tits and bum. Sex is basically enjoyable, don't be such prudes

We aren't prudes - we were thinking more about UFO being a series that was slightly confused as to what it was - a children's show with some adult themes (sex, drugs, etc) and that it really wasn't sure where it should go. Straker was a complicated character - despite being married, then divorced, he was more married to his role of SHADO chief. I personally think the series got better and interesting when it moved to Pinewood and started going more left field with episodes like Timelash, Mindbender, The Long Sleep, The Psychobombs, etc.
