the problem with these film makers is that they are not aware of the objective of their films. kadaisi vivasayi is kind of artistic film. it is shot in a very minimal budget which can be recovered by the satellite and OTT rights. the primary objective of that film is for film festival audience and theatrical run is just an addon . you cannot see kadaisi vivasayi even in trp list. where as captain miller,ayalaan kind of films are aimed to satisfy mass audience which reflects on box office. if you dont care about box office you should make films like kadaisi vivasayi not like cm /ayalaan

I watched Star, Captain Miller, and Ayalaan. All three movies are horrendous, and they keep talking about the numbers game. They had enough budget to make a good movie, but they give excuses like they are cornered by the numbers game. Otherwise, they claim they would make a movie like Interstellar or Inception.
