We grew up hanging out our clothes. When Mom left the farm, she moved to a housing addition. They didn't allow clothes lines, so she put a line up in her garage and continued hanging up heavy things like towels. Just throw them in the dryer for a few minutes when mostly dry to soften them up.

I started hanging my clothes outside four years ago, and I LOVE IT! I love the smell, I love the fact I can hang it all out at once, and bring it ALL I’m at once, folded, and ready to be put away. I love it that I am not a slave to the dryer, and that I am saving tons of money on my electric bill, especially in the summer months. My outside line/dryer was made in the USA, which I also love, and it’s been AWESOME having it.

Many years ago I got three dish towels at Dollar Tree that had coffee themes on them. I loved them so much that I went back the following week to get more. But of course, they were gone. I told the cashier when I was checking out and she knew the ones I was talking about. She said everyone bought them out pretty quick. I love it when you find those little gems, but you have to know they might not be there if you want to go back and get more. Thanks for taking us along to Dollar Tree Danno!

Hope you get the old-style wooden pickup truck cut out (and have Jess paint it red!) and hot glue a little pine tree in the bed of the truck to decorate for next Christmas! Thanks for the DT tour. I made some notes 📝 of some things to look for. Start looking for a little Christmas tree 🎄 to glue in the back of that pickup (which you can have painted red in no time). Or maybe velcro it so you can decorate for different holidays ... hearts, Easter eggs, flag, etc. I hope Jess will show some of her crafts with us, since she is showing up more in the videos ❤v

The shower curtains are great to keep in the car to use it you want to protect your seats or trunk if you are taking things that might make a mess. They are great also as drop cloths when painting. Also I use the paint brushes once and throw them away. They are great.

Just remember that it says on the DT potholders not to use it on pans over 350 degrees. (Just in case you are baking a pizza at 425 degrees and are thinking of taking it out of the oven with those.)

I bought those knives a few years ago. They’re not heavy duty, but they’re good for cutting up small things like fruits. And those shower curtain liners work well. You don’t mind throwing them away when they start to mildew because they’re so cheap. The shower liners are like $5.99 or $6.99 elsewhere.

Those little cubes at around 13:00 min. are awesome for organizing/storing preps. After I vacuum seal, I toss them into one of those cubes & put it away. Arts & crafts, medical supplies, etc. Happy Valentine's Day, you two crazy love birds! ❤

Vacuum bags are great for bug out bags. Put your change of clothes in there and suck the air out and they stay nice and dry.

We went there yesterday. Bought those same glasses you picked up. I am going to use them for wine. Got rid of all of those we had with stems. The new ones will work great, and no more knocking them over (as we got older, things like that happen)

The yarn is made by Yarnspirations specifically for the dollar store. I’ve heard it’s good to work with. I haven’t tried it yet. And if someone is new to crochet or knitting, it would be a good option to start with.

Yes hanging clothes out is still a thing.. been doing it as long i can remember .. we have a clothes line that is concreted posts 50 ft apart.. with 4 lines between them.. so yeah its still a huge thing

With electric bills like we're getting, we better ALL be hanging our laundry out! Under-bed storage containers hold canned food for those with very little storage area! The sink strainers are good for draining liquid out of a can. Rope and clothes pins are good to keep for if you have to hand laundry up to dry in the winter. I picked up Iodized salt for 79c. Their garden seeds are pretty good. I have some of the big plastic scoops for getting ingredients out of buckets. We got more toilet paper, but it isn't much.

I have been using the Dollar Tree light bulbs for years. They last and are plastic. They stay cool and don't break if dropped. I buy them in bulk. Love them. The small bulbs are also good.

If I have a clean produce bag I'll use it in my bathroom trash can. I guess she taught me not to be wasteful.

Solo cups can go through the dishwasher. I never saved them from a larger get-together but used the same few I washed over and over. Also use them to up-plant seedlings into. Just poke a hole in the bottom.

I started buying swiffer refill dry and wet cloths at dollar tree, they call them scrub buddies, work perfectly fine and so much cheaper. Don’t know if you use a swiffer mop but hadn’t heard you mentioned these- great buy! Happy Valentines Day to you both!

Ah, Christmas tree for the truck. I'd love to see that.Modge Podge is also for doing decoupage, as I have taken many boxes, and other containers, (lots of coffee cans), cut out pictures and decoupaged them. I've been with you daily for several years now. So much has happened, the years are a blur! The silicon-backed oven mitts and hotpads are an incredible buy.I have a lot and got some for my grandkids who moved to apartments. I also get some kitchenware there, and I like the small silicon ones. The clothespins are garbage. They are flimsy and don't last.I have some;I am concerned about not having electricity, but it's been more than 20 years since I hung anything out to dry. If the electricity goes out,I have a metal fold-out drying rack, too.

I know what you are thinking about with truck. Lol i have made blankets with dt yarn it worked just fine. I got a butter dish in kitchen section of dt for someone that broke theirs. Its not bad quality. Im in central FL. The down side to the dishes not dishwasher safe.
