Animal Jam's in game economy surrounding it's rares has changed a lot over the years. In today's video, I go over some items that used to be some of the rarest in the game but nowadays are worth little to nothing!

Same! Except I only stopped a few years ago (2017 maybe?) and just picked it up again. I didn’t get a SINGLE spiked collar in my years and years of playing before, and when I picked it up again I got 4 of them in a couple weeks and a wristband. Everything just changed.

I remember when the lphd wasn't the rarest headdress. And when I was offered 2 beta blankets and 2 beta tiaras for my first glitched ring. The worths of things change so often, it's weird seeing such an enormous difference.

As much as people miss these times, I think it’s honestly a good thing that these items are more available. I wish they were a bit harder to get in some cases though. They shouldn’t be worthless. But they’re just so cool I think it’s nice for everyone to be able to get a chance to have them.

A fox hat was my first dream item and I had to trade a lot to get one, and when I got it I was so happy. (I believe it was back in 2012-2013) It's crazy how things have changed, and how items lost so much rarity so quickly. If I heard back then that rhino helmets and beards would be some of the least rare items in the future, I would not have believed it. And when they released scary bat wings as a rim, that was crazy. I also remember buying a glitched ring, but I didn't know it was glitched. Someone traded me a beta tail armor and I accepted because I liked beta tails and I thought it was just a normal store bought item.

First AJHQ destroyed it but now the rarity system isn't based off rarity anymore, or else spikes, hds, etc. wouldn't be as high priced as they are because they're so common LOL

I remember something like that but yea when I played back in 2012 I remember everyone freaking out about cream beards and orange beards too also spaceship grey, planet walls, and blue shag carpet specifically I remember being real rare too, and the (now) diamond shop tail armors, I remember when the diamond shop released (on my 14th birthday) and the tails dropped everyone was M A D

I got a orange beard, I don't remember how... (not from a store) but then watched a video that they were one of the rarest items in the game. Not realizing that the video was posted many years before, I was asking people to trade me. No one traded me more than 2 rims. I then looked up the orange beard worth and was surprised how wrong I was 😂
