Regarding the experience, perhaps it refers to the old method in which you assembled your decks in game, before there was a system of levels within the games, you started the game with a single card in your deck and as you leveled up you could choose an additional card or exchange any of the ones you had in your deck. now you start the game by choosing a full deck, they no longer build as the game progresses

Interesting, I had a very similar idea of going through burns cards, removed deck cards, old items, balancing history of current items, the Siege: Beyond store they had for a while, and old mechanics in general. At some point, burn cards were randomized from a pool of cards each champion could buy. Sky could make her mount invisible along with her and run away, and her ultimate was a normal ability with a cooldown but way less damahe (that's how much mobility and damage she had, despite having no vertical mobility, that's probably why devs were still uncomfortable buffing or changing her until recently. They're probably reasoning obsoletely). Haven vs Blast Shields also had a problem where characters like Buck and Maeve can hit multiple champs at the same time sometimes and not count as AoE damage, Evie is technically AoE but she hardly ever hits multiple targets, some characters have both AoE and Direct damage mixed on their kit (Lian, for example, whose main weapon is direct but every ability is AoE) and some team comps may have high DPS champions of different damage types. Ultimately, it messed the item store and the pace of the game, "Do I buy 2 expensive damage reduction items instead of just one of them and something else while running the risk of not predicting the damage done by the enemy team correctly?"

I really think they should change current veteran and honestly the old version doesn't seem that bad, maybe make it so it helps self heal activate a bit faster along with more heals? It could be interesting, far more than current veteran at least
