The explanation is more confusing than Gikuyu mythology. There's no logic. If Ashar tribe disappeared how do you say that they became Kikuyu😅. Historically many tribes and languages have disappeared. Some were ethically cleansed and others infused into the major tribes. The clanism structure is not just unique among the Kikuyu. it's common to many tribes/races eg Arabs, Chinese, Somalis etc. Then "Ndarwa" is simply a hide. Like that of a cow. It would be used as bedding or clothing.
