Very well explained. I saw both part 1 and part 2 and highly appreciate your effort and unique ways of explaining. It is indeed very helpful for me to take decision. I have two queries. Really appreciate if you can explain a bit and build my confidence. A little bit background. Last year I did the Delhi-Srinagar-Kargil-Leh circuit with a Brezza. Unfortunately that time Manali route was not opened and hence we could not return via Manali as planned and returned back the Kargil route. We had absolutely no issue on the entire route except at Changla Pass. At Changla pass, like many, we had a hard time to climb. Due to height, there was no pick up. Initially I thought Brezza may not be powerful enough to climb but then I saw others like Safari, Scorpio, Cretas were also struggling. Even bullets were struggling!! That was enough to scare the Ladies in the team. As driver, I was also scarred not to burn the cluth plate. However during return it was not troublesome. The reason I figured out was traffic. While going there was some traffic and hence there were too many stops and go. Once the car is stopped, it was hard to climb up from stationary position. Moreover, the road was quite bad with slippery patches of muds and snows (there is a video on my channel). While return, we maintained momentum all the time and hence there was no issue. There was no such issue at Khardungla or Zozila. I drove in many other higher passes overseas but there both road as well as car were far better. After Changla Pass experience, ladies are a little bit reserved for a similar second trip. On this context I have two questions 1. When you say in some patches (e.g. Karcham, Powari-Khab section, Mudh road) roads are bad and offroading may be required. Do you mean a 4X4 or just better ground clearance is fine? 2. You said Batal to Gramphu is quite bad with broken roads, water crossing. Would you recommend a Brezza (4X2) on that route? For example, We avoided Nubra-Durbuk direct route to Pangong and after our experience at Changla, probably that was a wise decision. Appreciate your comments.

High GC and 4*4 are perfect in few patches... but then not everybody have it and that also didn't stop many doing it... People have done in Honda city :) .... but then again you have to be very careful on some patches otherwise your vehicle can get some serious hit from below ...

Hi Bro, just completed my spiti circuit with help of your map downloaded from your website. Just a small suggestion. When we reach gramphu, there is no signboard for indicating that it goes to atal tunnel towards right and to Rohtang La towards left. and if you go towards manali after 6 PM then police does not allow to enter manali via rohtang so we need to turn back and take atal tunnel route. a small edit in map will help a lot. Thanks for your great effort.
