I fell in love with Zunge from my very first listen to it. It sings to me. People quite often choose to be offended by words, arguments and opinions and not always because they don't understand them but because they can't or won't counter them. Rumour, gossip and speculation without roots are far more titillating than the truth because the truth can be too boring, too emotionally upsetting or it can alter a person's belief system and a lot of people don't like the idea of a change to the status quo. Words are powerful, dangerous even but all words have meaning and it's as much out responsibility as the listener to find the meaning as it is the writer or speaker of the words. Till is, perhaps, a victim of his own honesty about the state of the world and society. He paints a picture that a lot of people cannot hear to view and for that, he's condemned. The condemnation hasn't and won't stop him though. His tongue has no bones, so he'll say what he wants.

I know you’ve watched plenty of Lindemann and Rammstein so I don’t have to tell you about Till and his extreme showmanship albeit amazing art work and dedication. However, the official video to this one comes with a disclaimer. That in itself gives you an idea to how good the video is.

Hello there. Imo the song is about freedom of speech. As an overall topic. Now, when it comes to a personal level, maybe Till describes the three stages in his life. 1st verse, when he was a kid/young person. 2nd verse, when he was an adult 30-50ies for example. And the 3rd verse past few years/now. As an elderly person. (Which is a bit ironic, because I'm not that much younger than he is😅). And I'm not suggesting, that I don't have fredom of speech. As you get older, you just don't speak your mind so often for various reasons. With love from Germany 🤘🏻

This is such a good opener for his solo concerts that it stays at the top of my Till playlist. Check out the concert vids if you can. BTW, I'm sure you're on it, but try to figure out Till's video for "Entre Dos Tierras" haha.

one thing that i dislike is that the audio in this lyrics vid and the audio in the music video is mixed and produced differently than the audio on the album,so there is 2 versions of this song and i prefer this it sounds much better

4:48 yes, he's been through a lot in the last year, but the song was written in 2020 or 2021. I think shortly before the pandemic broke out so that doesn't have ANYTHING directly to do with the allegations, of which he was also acquitted or better to say, there was not a single piece of evidence, so there was no trial at all and he shot the music video in Moscow
