Thanks for this! This performance was at his Bastau concert in 2017 and was significant because Kristina Orbakaite is the original artist (along with Alla Pugacheva) of Blizzard Again ('Opyat' Metel'' in Russian). However, Dimash had won the Slavic Bazaar international song contest in Vitebsk (Belarus) in 2015 with this song and that essentially kick started his career. He also translated and recorded this song in Kazakh (called 'Aıaz Qarıp') in 2015. Could I suggest that you also listen to another duet performed at the Slavic Bazaar in 2016 - Belovezhskaya Pushcha' by Dimash and Nagima Eskalieva. Another suggestion would be Dimash and his mentor, Marat Aytimov, singing 'Brucia la Terra' (Moscow, 2019) in the original Sicilian language. (See links below.) Greetings from Pretoria!

Exactly: "Cristina hold my beer". She is not a large range singer but she has a very resonante snd beautiful voice. This is a lady who in a group TV interview around a round table refused to rate anyone in the music business in Russia as a good up and coming singer, in the presence of Dimash who was sitting right next to her. She was immediately pulled up for it by Igor Krutoy who said 'what about Dimash here?'. She then rapidly backtracked and said something like 'present company excepted, of course Dimash is a wonderful singer'. Oh yeah. Right. You see how she sings directly to the audience at first and completely ignores him, whereas he sings towards her from the beginning (exactly like a person in a male female duet is supposed to). She even turns her back to him. She does eventually turn towards him right at the end and engages in the duet properly. But I believe she is making a point at the beginning. It gives me the impression of 'I am famous already. This guy? Who knows?'

Kristina Orbakaite is very mediocre singer, she is only got fame because she is the daughter of #1 of all times Russian legend singer Alla Pugacheva. Actually I like Kristina dance moves generally better of her singing (she took ballet classes). But again she is a royalty of Russian pop industry, it is the same situation here as to sing to with Latoya Jackson instead of Michael Jackson.
