Hello. I was at Dimash's concert in Yekaterinburg in February 2021. It is difficult for me to describe the emotions that I received. Amazing show, vocals that are amazing... Dimash is the most skilled vocalist ever! His wide range, versatility, powerful and beautiful voice, stage presence and musical intelligence make him a genuine and unique artist. He is now a world class artist, still just turned 27 on the 24th of May but touring the world to sell out arenas with his solo concerts, (on hold until next year due to covid-19) he also performs in concerts with the famous russian composer Igor Krutoy, is constantly collecting awards, attends many prestigious red carpet events and film festivals. He is university trained in Classical opera vocals to degree level, also holds a degree in contemporary pop music and jazz with a major in vocals, and now has finished his master degree in music composition. Now he is about to start his PhD. He has been having singing lessons from the age of 5 when his teacher noticed he had perfect pitch . He was offered a place at the Astana Opera in Kazakhstan but respecfully turned it down to persue his own more contemporary musical career. The team that handles his website always posts on IG and FB as well, so you don't really miss anything when you're just sticking to one place. I saw him live in New York City 2019 . of course his voice is incredible....but his personality filled the auditorium..he showed incredible emotion.... And his "Dears" (he named his fans that because he said we are like family to him) were all like family with each other...like we were not strangers. Even now he is thoughtful with his Dears, they always know which airport and the time he flies in and out and he takes time to talk to them . His Dears take him huge number of bouquets to each concert and he goes to the edge of the stage to accept them. He is also a humble man. I thought then and still think he is the best singer in the world..

Went from Sweden to Riga/Latvia to see him in one of the last concerts early-pandemic. Actually got sick (for 9 weeks!) five days after the concert.. But I never regreted going. It truly was an experience of a lifetime.. 😍😍😍 There are some songs you should NOT miss from the early days, when he was "discovered" in China on a chinese singing-competition "The Singer 2017". Your reaction that he is not human is common. My first thoughts too. The first time I heard Dimash at the recommendation of a friend, I could NOT believe what I was hearing. I've heard all the "greats" live and on recording. But not one of them ever moved me to tears. Hearing Dimash for the first time, tears rolled down my face in wonderment, awe and disbelief! I only share that Dimash has worked harder, sacrificed more, and is more disciplined than you can imagine. Since BEFORE the age of 5 he has lived, breathed, eaten and slept music; I don't know how many instruments he can play extremely well including the Dombra, piano, and drums! Wait til you see him play the drums and the Dombra! He has studied all of the great singers on recordings and on film, he has 2 Masters in music and is working on his Doctorate. He's only been to a nightclub 2 times in his life. He does not just sing, he is a bodybuilder of singing and a scientist and scholar of music. He works really hard, never drinks, never smokes or uses drugs. Yes a gift, but a diamond is only a polished work of art after great and careful work and attention to the smallest of details has been painstakingly applied. He has earned all of this world wide success and acclaim that he has achieved thru his hard work and dedication. Dimash's instrument in the rough was a gift, but what he has achieved with that gifted vocal instrument is due to pure genius, discipline and a lot of hard work!!!!! You can be born into a family that provides you with a multi million dollar Stradivarius violin, but if you don't study with masters, practice above and beyond what most mere mortals are willing to do, discipline yourself to use that great gift, it's just a piece of wood and strings. He has earned his rewards! 😄 A request if you could turn the volume up on Dimash for us out here.....really low on this one.

Sadly only once in New York but I can not wait to do it again once this %*%##!!! pandemic ends. Dimash live is just incredible. 3 hours of high powered energy seems like 30 minutes. People fly from all over the world to see him. At the New York concert it was something like 54 different countries, some as far away as Iceland. He is incredibly humble and honestly appreciative of his fans which is something you rarely see. In New York, he thought nothing of getting on his knees and bowing in thanks to the audience. There were tears in his eyes when people did their best to sing in Kazakh. He just stopped and listened. An experience I will never forget.

I firmly believe he's the best singer in he world right now, possibly of all time (so far). There are plenty of good singers in the world, but I've yet to encounter anyone who can do what Di can. He truly won the genetic lottery and has put in the work to make that luck count. The interesting thing, though, is how humble he is. If there were anyone in the world who could get away with being egotistical, it'd be him...but he doesn't have an ounce of ego in him. Let's just say, if I were only into him for the voice, I wouldn't have made a whole-ass compilation series dedicated to him. Sometimes I wonder if this addiction is a bad thing, but it's hard to see it as bad when Di is just so...I suppose "remarkable" is really the only way to best describe him. He is a remarkable human being, both objectively for his range and, ultimately, the vocal cords that supply this range, and subjectively for voice and humanity. I've never seen him live, but I desperately want to someday.

You’re new so you might not know how special this song is to Dimash. He’s been singing it since he was a teen it is in French. Dimash sings in 12 languages. This song sos was written for a French opera, Starmania. I believe the authors and singer of the song have died band the singer was killed in a helicopter accident. The words to the song are from someone that is not sure about life. Doesn’t feel comfortable in their own skin. They want to see the world from above and they wish to be a bird the way Dimash interprets the song when the words are from above he goes high when he’s talking about being like a bird his notes whist almost. When I hears this song first Dimash was 22 yrs he’s 27 now. Every time he sings it it is different. That shows that he’s not lip supyncing. The music is different. On january 6 he sang it as a haligram for the Biden/Harris inauguration. France had him sing it at their Cannes Film Festival I think in nice. All French people know this song. I have to say every time it’s been a “10”. But his French wasn’t as good at first. But he got better Dimash learns and Ike you said about his passion especially this song. It’s like.he took the authors words and pictures them in his mouth and gave it to us with all that emotion. If you don’t know what he’s doing it’s called emoting, to emote. Other singers don’t bother, but dimash gives it every time he gave this to us January 16/ in a live on stream concert.

I'm from Philadelphia. I went to Russia this year to see Dimash at New Wave festival in Sochi. It was incredible. I've seen it all live - Ave Maria, Stranger, Fly Away and more... It's been over a month. Still can't recover. He performs at New Wave every year since those shows organized by Igor Krutoy. The amount of love, admiration, flowers, respect from his fans and audience is as important part of the experience as his performances. He is so respectful, kind, humble and attentive to everyone

We flew to Latvia to see Dimash. We had booked a few months earlier and was panicking that the U.K. would be in lockdown and we wouldn’t be able to go, but we just got it in before U.K. lockdown in March 2019. It was great during lockdown to be able to watch Dimash on you tube and even see the concert again as it is on you tube. Just being in the same concert hall as him was thrilling. The only thing missing was that he didn’t come down in to the audience at the end as usual. He obviously needed to keep safe as things were getting very scarey by then. I’m glad he didn’t risk it.

Denis was a close friend of Dimash.Denis used this song by Dimash for his performance on ice .Unfortunately, Denis tragically died trying to detain criminals.
