Hi. Re the story, I've had such experiences with Pakistanis here which is why I don't work with desis at all tbh. But you know you should mention the name of the person and the PR company so that in case the company isn't aware of the PR scamming them and others, they will be aware. Because let's face it in Pakistan everyone is a scammer just waiting for an opportunity especially in PR etc. For example they may be taking huge amounts from the company citing payments but as you say they aren't paying anyone. Similarly they may be sending damaged goods because they are probably not working with said company but lying to you. Keeping this in mind I suggest you email the company directly with screenshots of the msgs and your video of the product and you should call out the person and his PR company in your vlog. As a lawyer you know you are well within your rights and this will serve as evidence if ever needed: it will benefit you and you will be in a stronger position to sue as well as to settle. So do do that. And next time just give the manager's number to anyone who approaches you. Don't engage any further. ❤
