Surah Al Anbiya (arabic text: سورة الانبياء) is the 21st chapter of the Quran and consists of 112 ayat or verses. It is classified as a Meccan surah and the title of this Surah in English is "The Prophets".
The main theme of the Surah is about Prophets and Prophethood. All Prophets were mortal human beings. They suffered at the hands of their enemies. Allah tested them, but they always trusted in Allah and lived according to His command. They faced adversity but they turned to Allah with prayers and Allah responded with mercy.
