As a FA on the E175 for AA it is super embarrassing to serve cold nuts. I’m so sorry. I hate every time I have to give them out. I sense the disappointment from the passengers everytime
@alaskaairflyer7374 жыл бұрын
seriously though, I hate serving cold meals .
@randkinca4 жыл бұрын
No need to be embarrassed. It's not your fault the nuts aren't heated. I'm always grateful to have any type of service on my flights, except the ridiculous snacks/refreshments on 1.5-2.5 hour flights.

I've flown the Eagle,( Mesa and Compass operated) E-175's and the CRJ 200, 700 and 900 series (175 LAX-RNO, 200 MKE-ORD, 700/900 PHX-LGB). The 175's are a lot more comfortable and quieter than the CRJ's overall. The 700 and 900 are much roomier than the 200's. I found the overhead compartments just fine for my backpack on all the aircraft. Since the stage length was less than 1.5 hours on all flights, I didn't have a need for power. Beverage service was just fine, including the cold nuts. I thought the Compass FA's were just a fraction nicer than the Mesa FA's, but all the crews were very nice to deal with.

The Lack of Streamings, IFE in seats, is due you travelled in the first version of E-175 aircraft. The new version, E-175 E2, you get this and more. Even the engines are different, more powerful...

Flew on one of these from SEA » LAX last November (2019). Was surprised by how small the overhead-bins were. Nearly had to check my bag after boarding. FA was having a very bad day, thus let's ignore the abnormality. At least, I now know the cold nuts weren't her fault!

Congrats on a full row to yourself! :) I prefer the seats in F on the 175 to AA's 738s/A320s (minus the A32B, of course).

Power outlets are a nice option but not a requirement to the airline. Passengers should be equipped for all necessary requirements.

I was an passenger for American Airlines for a while. I had flew with 727, DC-10 and MD-80. But I flew with MD-80s for most of the time. That was long time ago. Now, almost every American Airlines got new aircrafts. Luckily, they offer y’all for meal, Wi-Fi, comfortable seats and cool cabin. I’m too old for that. 😀

My first ever experience with the E-175 was with Delta Connection,IAH-MSP--I'm no fan of regional jets,they feel cramped,crowded--was amazed at the quietness of the engines on takeoff and the abrupt power increase,from idle to full thrust! Do you have family in Leon? At that late hour,did somebody meet you? I'm thinking that you filmed the cabin interior upon boarding either at the end of your trip or on two different flights--you boarded/departed DFW in daylight yet as your camera scanned the interior,you can clearly see its dark outside! Face reveal at the 857 mark,reflection on your laptop. How did you get from Tijuana to DFW(previous video posting)?

Because the IFE is on your own device, you'd think they'd provide power for it. The seating was roomy enough, but was the cold meal worth the extra for "First Class"? I suppose if your employer is paying for it... ;-)

I have a trip coming up in December. I will be flying alone for the first time and while I like Delta. They have a one-stop in Atl where I will have to change planes which brings anxiety for me. I'm looking at American airlines since it would be a none stop flight. I've heard awful things about this company though. Would anyone recommend them? ( this is the aircraft I would be on)

by the way passenger s do not decide the routing of the flight due to weather the Captain and flight followers know a little more about weather than a schmuck sitting in first class that is probably not a frequent first class passenger.
