So special ! It's so beautiful listening to her sing 'her' song. One minute I'm starting to tear up and the next second I have a big smile on my face ! Yes, she has a wonderful family and when she wrote the song, Shield, she thanked them in the song for giving her the opportunity to live out her life's dream of singing to everyone, everywhere.

Good reaction and yes she is a Musical Genius, she not only writes and composes, she rearranges all her covers and if you listen closely you can hear a little of the original Artist's voice, hence the nickname, "Angel of a 1,000 voices, God Bless!

Good morning, nice reaction to Angelina's first composition. There's some very simple images in the song about her life, but also some very deep insight into human nature. It's amazing that a 12-year-old or even 11-year-old when she wrote it, can feel what most adults don't even feel. Hi, Yes she composed it she is 15 and by this age she has written 5 songs, this song she is trying to tell you about her life and how is your life is if telling you her story, every song she sings is like her telling you a story. She is an incredible artist and i just adore her she picks her songs and she puts her own spins but without taking the song away from the original artist she respects them. Thank you...

She wrote & originally recorded this on her album "It's Magic" when she was 11, with a large military band. However, I prefer this acoustic version performed at 12. Where does someone that young come up with lyrics like "And life is perhaps a tear that's stealthy in the night" or "Maybe life is a warm embrace , from someone safe" or "Maybe life's just a memory we come we see we go." I don't believe in "old souls," but I sure believe there are prodigy children with supernatural abilities & Angelina's are her understanding of music & how to express emotion through singing. She is "The Perfect Storm" in the field of music!

Like you I also do not believe in the "old soul" designation given to this talented music prodigy. For me this Barefoot Angel is another phenomenon which appear in the Universe once in a while to assure us that life is wonderful if you open your eyes, observe, and enjoy it.

I was writing precocious lyrics when I was in 3rd grade, and so, yes, even age 10. My point? Yes a precocious and prodigious artist (who, by the way, was exposed to great music and such by intelligent parents and grandparents) can and will conceive of expression well ahead of her/his peers.
