This was the first Tom song that I remember him showing off the set on his social media. He built all of the props himself. A crazier thing to think about is this is on a run of a couple of years where these sets all existed in their house at the same time.

Some of my best lines lately have come from Tom's stuff. Clown World is another banger on social commentary from Tom and you know how I feel about his interpretation of political correctness and today's social norms. Anyone who knows me, knows my feet DO fit in clown shoes, but when it comes to political and social viewpoints they get taken straight off. This video is creatively scintillating and adds depth to the lyrics! What makes it better is Tom and Nova create props and sets themselves, they are such a formidable pair and have my utmost respect on many levels.

To start with, know first that you did NOT pause too much for me, it was okay I wasn't mad at it. That being said, I have been frustrated at reactors doing too much pausing before, so if you decide to read all of this, I will surely teach you about some things for which you expressed frustration when you first paused near the beginning and said - "I know I haven't even heard the song yet I know you guys all hate it but, there's a link for the full video if you just want to go watch that", and then you started commenting on what you had seen and heard in the first 10 seconds of the video, and how you feel about some other things which are adjacent or in some manner related to what was being portrayed in those first 10 seconds. Cool. What I can teach you about the perspective of we your viewers and subscribers, and of people whom may have expressed negative feedback or frustration to you about "too much pausing", is this... It isn't that we desire to simply hear the full song. People come here of course for *your* reaction to your very first experiencing of some kind of great art which we have already experienced. We want to watch things "click" in real time as you go through whatever rollercoaster of emotions we each went through whenever we first experienced a great piece of art. And yes, you're a videographer, we get it. I mean, if we're subscribed to your channel and always have 👍the videos we watch, then that's the proof we enjoy your content, right? However, what you should take the time consider, is all of what I am about to lay out... To start with, while it is true that you are a videographer; You are first and foremost a human being. Human beings of all origins have more in common AS humans than as any other thing. Hell, there's only a 2% of difference in our DNA from that of Chimpanzees! Your videographer job will never trump the relatability your viewers feel from you as a human being first reacting to great art. We first want the same thing that your soul secretly wants, which is to experience this kind of great art with the maximum amount authenticity as possible, which also not coincidentally holds the potential of delivering to you the most thrill and joy and excitement and surprise and any other emotions you may be into. Great art which other humans spent so very much time and toil in developing and performing - is always designed to be experienced in real time, not with pausing and tons of commentary, which is also again not coincidentally precisely how we your viewers and subscribers also first experienced great songs out in "the real world" (concert, club, car ride, really anything else other than being a reactor on YT), which in turn makes your first time viewing experience maximally relatable to us. "Authentic" can mean a lot of things, but in this case it's primarily it's about the timing and flow, or rather lack thereof once the first 10 seconds of the video is paused whilst the "first-time-viewer" (you) proceeds to deliver several times more than 10 seconds of basically your own content. When you're done and ready to resume the video playback "where you left off", your consciousness simply cannot just "rewind" itself to get back to precisely where it was at "where you left off" just before you decided to pause and speak, because there are tons of other things going on in the background in your mind and spirit at the subconscious level that you're completely unaware of whenever you're listening to a song, and tons more things going on still whilst you generate and deliver your own content during the pause break for commentary, such that once you finally resume the content playback, your "first time experience" of the art is unnaturally tainted because "things are different" than they otherwise would have been within you. -- sub·con·scious /səbˈkänSHəs/ adjective of or concerning the part of the mind of which one is not fully aware but which influences one's actions and feelings. "my subconscious fear" -- We can never get back a moment in time, and during a great song there are many such moments (just think back to your youth out in "the real world" if you will, when first hearing something you decided was an amazing song at a bar or in a club or at a concert). Now compare it to what happens once you pause a song and create "something else" of your own will, something which wasn't part of the song that the artist created, you've now "moved on" in your subconsciousness, your mind and spirit once you resume playback can never be the same as they otherwise would have been without the pause, and that's the state you are now in as you hear each next verse of the song. I mean, yes - you can rewind and start the song or verse over again, and that helps somewhat, but it doesn't completely restore what may have been. Of course don't get it twisted, we of course still want to hear all your insights and pontifications as a videographer, otherwise why else would we subscribe and like? I recommend an easy fix by simply employing an additional playback of the content in each reaction video you make, which a couple of other reactors have been trying lately and it seems to work nice... It goes like this, first you watch the content (song/video/etc) at the beginning of your reaction video, employing only minimal pausing (only 2 or 3 short pauses the entire song, and only after verse/chorus sets and only with directly related commentary with minimal pre-judgment, just enough pausing to avoid copywrite algorithms). Then, directly afterwards in the same reaction video you're making, you play it again whilst you do your normal routine of pausing and breaking it down whenever you feel moved to do so. With that, everybody gets everything they want, pausing complaints vanish, you get to experience the song the way the creator intended at least once before digging deeply into it's intricacies (which finally not-coincidentally is also the most accurate manner to comment on something in a song, as the future lyrics and message of the song you sat through listening to the first time can often harken back to and give you more clues as to the meaning of previous parts of the music than you otherwise would have known, had you paused to comment before listening to the song at least once in it's entirety), and finally you also get to do your normal reaction routine right after, whilst avoiding what first time viewing commentary can sometimes become, pre-judgement; Sort of like judging a book my it's cover, or judging a book by it's first chapter I suppose.
