I thought it was a beautiful question the other day my friend asked who is HaShem? So simply when I said it in the mist of a prayer and it was an opportunity for me to explain how I actually came to understand that Yeshua was in fact the Messiah. I told him HaShem means the name but out of respect we don’t pronounce the name or we say Adonai instead of pronouncing the letters (Yud Hey Vav Hey ) which is why some people say Yahweh but we don’t. But if you look at pelio Hebrew in it’s oldest form the letters did not just have numerical value but also literal meaning and the literal meaning letter for letter of Yud Hey Vav Hey is actually (hand behold nail behold) and it was at that moment when I had to wrestle with the information that it was Him pierced for us. And when you look at those hands that went through so much to redeem us, you mourn and cry when you behold those pierced hands and all of the Torah opens up like never before. Knowing that about the name HaShem is how He saved me.

Let's compare your xian man-god to the God of Israel. In Matthew 24:36 the xian guy admits that he doesn’t even know “the day or the hour” of judgement day. Why would your god man not know this? In John 17:11, J prays for believers "that they may be one as we are one". Never happened. In fact, the exact opposite happened, wars, persecutions, and thousands of divided xian denominations. Why were your god’s prayers wasted breath? In Mark 14:36 J prays “take this cup from me.” When Rabbi Akiva faced death by torture he laughed. Why did the xian god not have the courage of an ordinary human being? The Jewish God says in Jeremiah 32:27 "“Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh.
